Hey guys, I'm retired from releasing and maintaining mods, I don't respond to PMs or comments. Please don't repackage and upload my mods elsewhere, thanks! Derivative works and new stuff based on my old stuff is all fine. This is old and ugly.
-Check out CharGen Extension for a powerful EEO-compatible SKSE based face slider addon. I contributed the morph assets and it works for all nonbeast races!
-Thordir made patches for Dawnguard and Dragonborn available here. Note that the patch set is not under my control and any questions should go to the author.
-I have a blanket free use policy on my mod assets. If I made it, feel free to use it for whatever, you don't need to ask permission. Crediting is nice but not mandatory.
-I'm not updating any of my mods any longer.
-Feel free to make patches or modifications to this mod if you want to.
this mod causes my all the elf vampires has mismatch head and body colour texture, like their head were grey meanwhile their body were still on default colour
(edit) Ladies and gents,I've reinstalled skyrim and after a bloody 2-3 hours of rummaging through mods,I finally got it.
If you're facing Elves having different face and body textures, then no it's not UNP, not CBBE.
The culprit is a HAIR MOD!!! You heard me right,a hair mod!!! I was using Shiva's hair replacer for my skyrim, this clearly means that the hairdos aren't compatible with this excellent mod.
Well if you're thinking mainly about Dunmer and Orsimer/"orcs', cuz they are cursed by Daedra/"demons" (Dunmer by Azura and Orcs by Boethiah via cursing Malacath). Lots of lore on this stuff if that interests you..
Then again, beauty is subjective, and personally I think Altmer/High Elves and Bosmer/Wood Elves in non-modded vanilla Skyrim were endowed with better looks than the box-faced eternally-hungover looking humans.. :P Snow elves also pretty sexy apparently before they all became disfigured
Orcs aren't supposed to be beautiful, nor have they ever ben portrayed as such in any fantasy setting that I have ever seen or heard of... because they're savage, brutish thugs by nature. Therefore: this aspect of your counter-argument is discarded.
Dunmer are ashen-skinned and red-eyed to reflect ghouls, as Azura cursed the Tribunal and the entire Chimer people for the audacity of stealing the power of a god (Lorkhan/Shor) for themselves. Were they visually portrayed as the sallow-faced, sunken-eyed creatures in Morrowind that they were in Skyrim (the 'comparatively limited technology' argument takes away all excuses from Skyrim, by the way)? No: they were not. As such: this aspect of your counter-argument is discarded.
Beauty is not nearly as subjective as you seem to believe it is: collective societal norms, perceptions, and the standards that stem from such ultimately define beauty more than anything else. Individual interpretations are the subjective ones.
I am, as you ask, speaking of 'all' of the elven races in Skyrim. Beauty in people (real or depicted) is linked either directly or indirectly to desirability, and I personally find hideous demons undesirable to play as.
First point: you're literally just agreeing with the point mlemieux made, it's in the lore - orcs are cursed, get over it. Regarding the dunmer it's literally just more detail, nothing ever mentioned them being beautiful or fair skinned, it also just so happens that actually living in Tamriel can in fact wear you down a bit, who would have thought?
Cry more or just mod in the beauty, job done, how are you so sensitive over something so trivial?

Orcs aren't (technically-speaking) 'elves' anymore, as a Daedric Prince quite literally 'ate' their God and shat him out. As the nature of the curse on their people is Daedric in origin, they are thereby closer to Daedra than Aedra (in comparison to the Altmer and Bosmer; who are directly linked to the Aedra 'Auriel' and 'Yffre'), and as such are not actually 'mer', but Daedra themselves. Again, in a very technical sense.

And yet; I'm simply attempting to debate over the merits of the portrayal of beauty (or lack-thereof) in digital media, whereas you, my friend, are whining over the trivial matter of someone having opinions that you don't share, and for no discernable reason. Try engaging in a bit of self reflection: it would do you a world of good, trust me.

Bosmer and Altmer look atrocious with that triangular head.
