I like this mod. It could be improved upon by having the ability turn in the cannibals and have them rot in Cidhna mine, perhaps by telling the captain of the guards to wait for you outside the cave, and at the cave, to not come in until you've come back out, so the cannibals won't suspect it was you. So you enter, finish the quest by sacrificing the dummy, leave, and then the guards roll in to arrest them all. They'll spawn in Cidhna mine, where they'll stay for the rest of the game. Alternatively being able to antagonize Eola after the quest is done, if you want to kill them all without having to resort to murder. Either option would be a nice addition for a morally aligned character, as the cannibals not exactly going to stop preying on innocents.
Hello there. I don't know if anybody else ever asked this, but what is the aim of these "for good guys" mods? I don't mean to be disrespectful of your work but I don't really get the whole idea. If you only play for the artifacts, witch are obviously powerful, then I don't really think that the small thing bother you, like sacrificing anybody for it (or it doesn't bother the character, if it is not a roleplay character) But if you play for the story, building a character, roleplaying or anything, then this good guys charma wouldn't let him/her to be a servant of a daedric prince, and they make you their champion for reason. I hope I could express my thoughts understandable and I am really curious of your reasons behind this mod, not just making mean comments
Well the ring isn't anything special and I for one prefer to pick a "good" alternative if there is one. Contrary to the "good guy vanilla solution", this mod provides me with a solution after which the priest lives and Markath is not left without decent part of vanilla population either. The second such mod about Molog Bal - well..beating an old man over and over is just lame. And tedious. The Boethian alternative - why waste a perfectly good follower (whichever it may be) if those cultists are all too eager to die anyway?
That would be my personal reasoning why such mods are all to welcome. Choices are the basis for variety.
I actually don't do any quests where the motives are 'questionable' i.e. the ends justify the means. Mods like these allow me to do so if I so wish. Granted there are some which i am still opposed to (even with the mod) but it gives the option.
Basically, choice. In a RPG like this game, having a second choice which fits your morals more is more immersive than doing something that is clearly out of your character. Let me give you an example: In Oblivion, there is a mod called "Whispered Warnings" which lets me warn the victims of the Dark Brotherhood and have them hide instead of having to kill them because I want to play the questline, but at the same time I'm not suddenly turning my character into a mass murder when he is a pacifist. So if this mod doesn't fit your cup to tea, that's fine, but understand that not everyone likes how this game handles some of the quests.
Purehempy The old man Molog Bal wants you to kill is a priest of Boethia. The actual best choice is kill him in the forsworn camp. That way Molog Bal doesn't get his way and the very evil priest doesn't live either. No mod required for that quest.
some people want the option to do what they'd actually want to do in an rpg rather than 1 or 2 simple choices given to them by the developers. There's also the case for completionists who don't like to leave quests unfinished or stones unturned, some get really bad ocd in games like this when on top of that they have a specific preference for what kind of character they want to be in their playthrough. At the end of the day that's the beauty of a game like the elder scrolls series is the creation kit allows people to heavily customize and flavor their experience, sure as hell the vanilla games wouldn't be anywhere near the giants they are without the plethora of ordinary people working as pseudo developers, for free no less.
My belief is that Bethesda were wrong and what they did was unacceptable. My Character is a hero. His power and deeds should be spoken of in years to come and he has every right to become Emperor and reach the status of Godhood at some time in the future. A quick understanding of Hjalti (Talos) and what he did to his friends to become Emperor make him rather despicable. The Dragonborn must have better credentials than that.
But Bethesda wants to railroad us into being evil or forgo the rewards the quests have to offer. That's wrong and doing something I don't want to do is not fun. Shame on them.

Thank you very much for this outstanding mod ! However, you can make it even funnier by allowing the player to create a fake Namira Ring and then give it to Brother Verulus in exchange for his Thrall Pet spell :))
I had the same CTD issue with this mod in the load order. Opened the mod in Creation Kit to fix the Form ID. Repacking the BSA with CK seems to have resolved the CTD issue. Play thru? We shall see.
It's 2019 and this mod works perfectly, however in case you are also using "Give gifts to anyone", you will have to turn the other one off for a very short time - only for the 1 line of dialogue that requires you to intimidate the created dummy into following you ("conflict" is that if both mods are active, the intimidation will result in inventory popping up as if you want to give the dummy a gift)....simply disable "Give gifts to anyone"...do this 1 line, then turn it back on and be on your merry ways. :)
