Just a friendly note to anybody planning to use this in 2019, it works perfectly. Anybody saying it doesn't work, or it's too old somehow, just didn't know how to get it working right. I just used this mod myself yesterday and it works great.
A word of advice however, regarding converting the Morrowind and Oblivion music files from .mp3 to .wav: This mod's mod description suggests using "Switch Sound File Converter", and I recommend avoiding it. It's free and works great at first, but before you get 1/2 the files converted, a window will pop up that says "Thanks for trying this software, but the fun is over now, so pay up." (paraphrasing of course)
I recommend instead using: LazyAudio XWM FUZ converter which can be found here on the Nexus: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71749?tab=files . It was faster and very easy to use.
This mod appears to be exactly what I'm looking for, but does anybody know if it works with Special Edition? Vanilla playthrough, only other mods I'm running right now are the Official and Unofficial patches.
This mod has an .esp file made for original Skyrim. Since SSE uses a different form number*, it is best if you convert the file using the CK2.0. It's easy to do, so long as you're willing to install CK 2.0 from Bethesda.net. If you don't know how, there are plenty of short tutorials on how to "port" an old Skyrim mod to SSE. This one btw, requires no special attention, it's just a simple esp and sound files don't have any issues going from LE to SE.
Just an aside, converting the Morrowind and Oblivion music files from .mp3 to .wav is more time consuming IMO than porting the mod to SSE. (I did both yesterday)
I've had this mod installed for a while now and had no problems with it while running around in the main world and even in some mods like Moonpath. It is pretty awesome, but the game CTD's in Markarth not sure about Solitude but Riften, Whiterun and Windhelm work fine. I know it is this mod causing the CTD because I've just spent 4 days unchecking and re-checking every mod I have installed. The game ran fine with all mods but this one from a save in Markarth. the CTD happens both inside the city and in the surrounding areas.
Might be caused by a conflicting mod, but why CTD in Markarth only and not everywhere else?
As an FYI, I create this exact same mod on Steam Workshop 2 months before you uploaded this one. It is also self installing. I did not put it on here because it is against Skyrims EULA. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=84533631

I'm sorry if this has been reported before; I searched for "Dawnguard" in the comments and didn't see anything.
