Not sure if you check this anymore; but this mod is fantastic; any way you could bring it over to Skyrim Special Edition?

Is it possible to remove the feeding thing? I'm sick of Dartwings building up in my inventory, and having to feed my companion after every fast travel. It also makes waaay more sense that a fox would be able to feed himself, instead of food randomly appearing in my inventory for me to feed him.

Jorin brings fish and wild game too, essentially feeding himself. You just have to give them to him.

But I want to just turn it off. So I agree with this, how would you turn it off? Or where is it saved, so I can delete it in the creation kit.

Any future plans to port this over to sse? This is like the only mod where you can actually care for your animal. And it has a lot of dynamic features too that are well cared for and thought out. Even if it isn't ported over. I want to thank the modder for creating such an amazing mod.

I had installed the version from Steam and didn't know it had textures to add.
I just installed through Nexus here but it is only allowing me to choose 1 texture.
    Any ideas?

From the "Files" page: "Texture ONLY installer - install AFTER installing the main plugin and allow the texture files to be over-written."
It *should* have popped up a setup window so you could choose the textures. NOTE: I used NMM to install both files - textures second.

Any possibility of a Skyrim SE Xbox One version? I love this mod, and I'd love to have Jorin following me around on my xbox one version

So I read the fox version of this will chase butterflies? True? Does the dog have any cute behavior like this?

The fox does indeed chase butterflies at the drop of dime but I have yet to notice the dog to do anything peculiar.

Any time Eclipse spots a Troll skull you'll hear him start sniffing & whining while he stares at it. It took me a while to figure out the cause. :-) Sometimes I find them in his inventory...

Should I let the texture back merge with the original file or create it's own when using Mod Organizer?

i agree, this looks like a great mod. I have Garn to, but the AI isn't that for me.
This one when i read through the description is the ideal one. Now it's an older mod, not sure if still working, that's...

Would be so great if somebody skilled would like care for this mod here !

Actually it's not hard. I change mine to wolves from the True Wolves mod. To change it you will need the .nif file, mesh of the animal you want to replace. Like with the wolves I download the True Wolves of skyrim mod. Then you need to get nifskope, you can download that online. Have BFF installed. Open nifskope. Then you want to open the .nif file of what you want it to be, like the wolf, found in the download of the mod. Open that in nifskope, you will have a model then that is all white. Click on it, on the left hand panel you'll see different nods, they are numbered. You want to find the one that has the purple flower, that represents there is a texture file for it. Click the purple flower and it brings up a box to select a texture, then you are free to select any texture you please. Textures do come with the mod I downloaded. Once you've selected the texture the white mesh will display it, if there is still some white on it click it and repeat with finding the purple flower icon and selecting that same texture. Once the textures are in place as save as, then navigate to your skyrim folder -> \Data\meshes\actors\gdsBFFCanine or Fox, whichever you're replacing. Back up the .nif file in that folder in case you want to change back. Then save the .nif you were working on in that folder and replace the nif file in there. Then that'll change the appearance and texture in game. Works for both. I've made them huskies and wolves, in different play throughs. Animations work and everything, you will have to increase the size of the fox one in CK or in game through console commands. If it's still confusing there are many nifskope tutorials on youtube, but the program is pretty straight forward and easy to use. Hope that helps!
