Before you leave a comment, please consider the following:
1. Have you not yet read the FAQ on the post? 2. Are you using a sub-mod of Immersive Armors? For example: Xathra's SkyRe Plugin, Lootification, etc. 3. Do you not own a legitimate, Steam copy of Skyrim that is up to date?
If you answered yes to any of the above, you have no need to post here. I do not answer questions already stated in the FAQ of the post, I do not support sub-mods directly(ask the sub-mod's author instead), and I certainly do not offer help to those who pirated the game. GO BUY IT!
Otherwise, fire away! Myself and others here in the comments section can hopefully receive whatever feedback you have to give!
NOTE : This version of Immersive Armors is for Skyrim Legendary Edition only. The IA Special Edition version is availablehere

*DO NOT REMOVE (uninstall, disable or whatever else) THIS MOD MID-GAME*.
Due to the nature of Skyrim mods, especially those with scripts, some content will be permanently altered and will not be restored to their previous states. NPCs who were wearing armor from the mod will be 'naked', a situation that would be difficult, if not impossible, to fix.
If IA was installed onto an existing save game then revert back to that save, otherwise start a new game after uninstalling.
Removing the mod mid-game is the sole responsibility of the user.

Immersive Armors Q & A.
Q1 : The game crashes when Immersive Armors is configuring.
A : There's a conflict with the mod Rigmor of Bruma. Disable Rigmor, let IA configure then re-enable Rigmor.
Q1a : The game crashes when starting.
A : Ensure the mod is installed correctly, and that there are no mod conflicts. Also ensure the correct version of the mod (either for Skyrim Special Edition or Skyrim Legendary Edition) is installed - they are *not* interchangeable.
Q2 : The cart goes flying/spinning during the introduction.
A1 : Try the Prisoner cart fix patch. A2 : Install the Alternate Start - Live Another Life mod and let Immersive Armors fully configure before clicking on the statue. A3 : Activate the mod when the character is just about to exit the caves under Helgen. Let the character you're following - Hadvar or Ralof - exit to Skyrim then save the game. Install Immersive Armors on that save and on restart let it fully configure, then have your character exit the cave. A4 : Open the command console using the ~ key. This will pause the game but allow all the initial scripts to run. Once *all* the scripts have finished running hit the ~ key again to continue the cart ride.
Q4 : Some armors aren't listed in the crafting menu.
A : Most armor sets have requirements that must be met before they can be crafted - specific smithing perks taken or quests completed, for example. All requirements are listed in the Armor List text file included in the download, or by clicking the DOCS link above.
A number of armor sets have different versions - LIGHT, HEAVY and (occasionally) UNARMORED. To reduce clutter in the crafting menu only one version of these armor sets will be listed at a time. To change the type to be crafted select the appropriate version in the Armor Type section of the Extra Options menu in the mod configuration.
For example, either Dragonbone Ebonsteel (when set to 'Heavy') or Dragonscale Ebonsteel (light) will appear on the crafting menu - not both.
This only affects the crafting menu - armor that already exits in the game - e.g in inventory or sold by merchants - will *not* change.
Q5 : The shield painting rack doesn't appear at the Skyforge
A : This occurs when using the Open Cities mod. Compatibility patch available here.
Q6 : The download files are corrupted.
- try a different browser - use 7-Zip instead or WINRAR or WINZIP. - use a download utility such as Free Download Manager instead of a browser.

Installing Immersive Armors manually :
Extract these 4 files to your Data Folder: Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.bsa Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.bsa Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp
The load order after activating the two .esp files is : Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp
-----
New Crafting Components:
Boiled Chitin Plate: made from (2 Mudcrab Chitin & 2 Chaurus Eggs) or (Chaurus Chitin & Scaly Pholiota) at the Tanning Rack - If Boiled Chitin Armor Crafting is activated.
Fur plate: made from any long furred animal pelt or hide at the Tanning Rack.
Glacial Crystal Ingot: made from 4 Refined Moonstone & 1 Frost Salts at the Smelter - If Glacial Crystal Armor Crafting is activated
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to only install a couple of the armors instead of all of them? Specifically the 2 Barbarian ones (normal and hero). Can't find them elsewhere and they fit perfectly with my Conan-type character. Thanks.
I'm using this mod for my Skyrim Legendary Edition in ps3 and to my surprise, It Worked. It is possible to make the file much more smaller, maybe make smaller resolution version to make it more quick to load when playing in ps3. And for reference, there is one mod that really compatible and smooth for ps3 Skyrim Legendary Edition and that is Konahrik Accoutrement
Yo tengo un problema, que sucede tanto con immersive weapons y immersive armors. Cuando abro el inventario de algún enemigo, teniendo este una nota o libro, estps se bugean con alguna arma o armadura de estos mods, haciendo que crashee el juego.
i got the mod for skyrim LE here and use vortex, i add it and use loot it but when i start the game it crashes is there a bug in this mod or something?
Learning xEdit is how you know if mods are conflicting for the plugin side. Mod mangers have a thing to show if stuff is overwriting files. You could use Loot to sort stuff but it will never be 100% correct not even 70% correct from my testing
I downloaded this mod maybe 1 hour into my playthrough
I have SKSE and other mods such as trade and barter show up in the MCM just fine.
However, immersive armors does not show up nor appear in the game at all. I was told to enter 'player.additem xx000D62 1" to see if I have it in the game, and the script could not be found. Then I read that if I type 'setStage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1" and still no luck.
I downloaded via Nexus, but after looking into my data folder, I see the order as
"Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp" "Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.bsa""Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp""Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.bsa" What the hell am I doing wrong man.
I had Immersive Armors installed, and everything was working very well. After I installed the newer version, I encountered a bug. Everything was functioning correctly except for the guards' armors. The guards are invisible from the neck down. However, this issue doesn't seem to affect all the guards. The armors of the guards in Solitude are functioning properly, but in Markarth, they are partially invisible.
I have already tried downloading the mod again. I have also tried manually installing it. I have reinstalled the game. None of these actions have helped. The guards remain invisible even when I deactivate the mod.
Hello, i have a problem with ulfric's stormlord armor, it doesn't load and he is naked, i use HIMBO and have the patch and all the requierments. I also try to use bodyslide to try to convert the outfit when i realized that the mesh for stormlord armor ends with an f, and i think that means its for females, but im not sure (stormlordf_0.nif)

What could be causing this issue?
And this does not edit guard armour so you have something editing the guards
