Unfortunately the author of this mod isn't active and so in addition to his mod being half broken, it's unlikely to receive an update anytime soon. Also I laughed at the "Morrowind did not have quest markers and it did just fine without them. So this mod does not use quest markers either." That was Morrowind's biggest flaw, alongside the hyperlinked dialogue system making it feel like you were interacting with walking, talking tourist pamphlets. Also, lack of continuity when compared to the rest of the game = bad.

If you want more College of Winterhold Quests, try Missing Apprentices or Research Thief. Both are quests which were intended to be in the main game, but were cut out. Interesting NPCs also adds a few if you're using that mod. I've had zero problems with all three of these mods.

"Skryim thinks you're a little child who can't look at a map or ask for directions and gives you the exact location of every quest objective even though you just crossed the border and have no idea what the country looks like, just to please whiny little CoD players who think having to role play in a role playing game is too much work". That is Skyrim's biggest flaw.

I think that some quests need markers, but the ones in this little mod do just fine without them.

if people want to use quest markers its fine. its understandable people dont want to think critically about anything. for those of us that enjoy that kind of gaming, morrowind is the high water mark. skyrim is impossible to play without map markers. sure you can turn them off, but the information isnt there 9/10 times the npcs dont tell you wear to go

Nice little import from Morrowind! I don't think that this particular quest needs quest markers, since it's easy enough to find the mushrooms in other places even if you have trouble finding the exact locations Ajira lists.

Galbedir's location can interfere with Arniel Gane striking his soul gem at the end of his quest, though. You have to push her away.

Also, it's strange that Ajira is male.

I hope this will be updated soon. We could really use some new mage quests. I'd be happy to help write stories for new quests.

Could you make a small demo video showing off some of the quests and voice work? I probably won't be playing Skyrim again til August so I'd like a little video introduction.

Also, if you need any voice actors, I would LOVE to help. Being a lifelong musician has it's benefits - I have a home studio with a nice mic and studio monitors, and pop guard and lots of experience with mastering audio (and mixing), including vocals, and I feel that I could provide some pretty quality tracks, if you still need any voice actors. I am a 29 year old male with a deep-ish, baritone voice, if you have any characters that might fit such a voice. This was an afterthought, once I saw on another mod page of yours (Vigilant of Stendarr Quests), that you weren't very pleased with your voice actor. Let me know if I can help in any way. Thanks.

Great Mod, David Brasher! Morrowind was my favorite in the series as well. I have (in my modded skyrim) fast travel disabled, quest markers disabled, and Better Quest Objectives mod (describes where to go, i.e. "Can be found just southeast of Markarth") so that I am forced to read and listen to NPC directions and actually travel the land and walk - or ride a horse - everywhere. I find that I have become not only more immersed, but also much more familiar with the land of Skyrim in doing this. I just wanted to tell you that I appreciate very much what you've done. Many modders do not get the proper credit for their work, and instead, are expected to curtail their work to the desires of the users, many of whom have conflicting opinions on what makes a good mod. They expect much and give back little, and they want everything exactly the way they want it (often to a pedantic degree), when they want it, and with little to no investment on their part. You are the mod author, and as such, it is your right to create the mod in a way that best represents your vision; in a way that you personally enjoy. If you do not enjoy what you create, what's the point? And so, I just wanted to say thank you, and that I personally think it's great! Keep up the good work, my friend.

liked the idea of this mod. saw that he hasn't updated in a LONG time though. it's too bad. i'd love to go through the entire morrowind mages guild quests in skyrim. as it is, wont' bother downloading an unsupported mod
