Hey, I'm sorry I'm not working on the mod now (and don't know if I will return to it some time). : I'm an "aficionado" at ENB modding also, so I'm not sure what could be done about the darkness without quite some trial and error. Maybe you can try adjusting the lighting variables (there are ones specifically for night, but they affect dungeons, too, if I remember correctly. Maybe in newer ENB versions that's separated). Also, I don't know if this can be used with newer ENB versions, sorry. You can try, though, and I've seen some great mods came out in all this time, so I was thinking I should try those for now.
You, sir, created the one and only preset I found worthy using, and that is a huge compliment since I've been through most of the top endorsed settings. Let me verify this: "Unlike some ENB configurations I've tested, Skyrim will always look great, not just in Screenshots". Sadly that's the case with most others: nice screenshot, you start using it and it's nothing like those screenies.
Wow, thanks for that! I'm sorry I'm not developing the mod anymore, but it seems it's ok as it is, right? Although, here's one thing I'm not very happy with (and would contradict the "always look great" statement for me), how the fog looks in dark places indoors! It's how the fog woks in the game but I don't like seeing clearly through it like if there was some kind of light projecting from the fog lining up with your fov and then when you get past trough it, the things you were clearly seeing through the fog suddenly darken. Anyway, thanks for the words and I'm happy you liked it.
I'm quite happy with the fog. I'm using supreme and volumetric fog. They look a lot better while moving around than looking at them on screenshots, but still pretty nice

I dare say again: it's still the best ENB setting.
@dryblood: I've changed my HD and right now I don't have Skyrim installed. I don't remember very well the performance impact my PC had and also have changed my 32 bits Win7 to a 64 bits version, so I wouldn't really know, sorry :\. If you can run the game on max settings I don't think you'd have much trouble with this, though. If you can't/it's too much of a performance hit you could try options like NO-DoF and No-SSAO. You could do it very quickly while in-game, you just have to copy and replace the files from the different options. I recall having bad framerate in the entrance of Riften and Solitude, so you can try and test the performance there if you want to always have a smooth gameplay. I hope this helps.

dryblood in my case need a powerful machine, but I have over 150 active mods, not think it's just for the enb.
But as I recall, did not need a NASA computer, and you can turn off or lower the quality of SAO, or shadows.....
