This is basically nothing else than a torch. Of course one can make a staff weapon out of the basic mesh (people did it) but you can not have both. I know it would be nice to have a "real" Gandalf staff but I doubt that one can make an object that is a light source and at the same time a working weapon like a lightning staff.
this is very cool, but know what would make it even cooler? Auriels shield enchantment! you could just be like: YOU SHALL NOT PASS! and throw them off of a bridge with a great big white light, if you could make that it would be friggin awesome!

I've used a slightly different white-wood texture from another mod, and also tweaked the Light radius & amplitude of this mod using TES5EDIT.
I'm happy to get a staff that can be wielded outside of combat (if you only you could fix the vanilla animation while sprinting with the staff!), that emits sufficient light and can be used to block attacks. Thanks for a useful and cool-looking weapon!
