Damn, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, but casting this spell doesn't seem to do anything. I just tried it on a giant, and it did turn hostile so something IS happening, but other than some rumbling the spell appears to stop.
Strange thing is, your other individual spells do work (ball lightning - a boss-killer favourite, ice wall - rises nicely in place, and the meteor spells). I'm guessing the pillars should rise in place like for ice wall, but while the ice wall spell works fine, this doesn't.
Also running a bunch of other mods, those that touch magic would probably be ACE ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10037 ) and Mighty Magick Skyrim ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13166 ). But as far as I can tell those mods shouldn't have issues with new spells, after all your ice wall works great.
thenobody6: They are staggered and stuck in place the moment it is cast, the pillars are mostly a visual effect and are not what actually holds the target.

Verteiron: this spell in itself is awesome for the player- but I sincerely request a joint effort to get this integrated into Sands of Time (version for NPC to cast on player).
Thank you for adding interesting spells to the game that do more than just XXX damage and ridiculous light show particle effects. Meteor, to this day...remains a favorite.
good job the animation work perfectly for me! i tryed only once on Lydia and she fall on the ground before the pillars start to rise so i think the foes are stuck directly when you cast on them thenobody6. great job again i endorse you

But everytime I use it, I get stuck with -50 max weight capacity.
Any fix for that? :/
I need the same spell but without any limitation of time, the prison stay ever !

when I cast it on anyone, my carryweight capacity (limit) ups endlessly while the spell is active! any workaround?
EDIT: btw, to shoot through the gaps is very difficult, even if we shoot properly thru it, can it be changed/easied?
