PRELUDE:
I like vanilla trees, honestly. Because trees in Skyrim shouldn't look too happy or lush. It's a harsh land. All what needs vanilla trees is better lighting and textures. Without big deviations. I used for a while lush trees, all these lush models double branched part of trees so i clearly see these duplicates of trees tops. So, i made lighting fixes and upscaled some textures and added some modern textures and meshes from another mods.
FEATURES:
- no ESP, it's just meshes and textures - all meshes (even broken trees on Solstheim) with lighting fixes (i edited them in the same way as Fixed Mesh Lighting) - upscaled textures of trees bark with 4k quality (available 2k textures) - improved textures of trees branches with 2k quality (available downsized 1k textures) - upscaled textures of moss and ivy - upscaled and improved textures of cutted trees and firewoods - improved textures of tundra trees - already includes fixes from Corrupted NIFs Patches - non lush heavy snowy trees from Lush Vanilla Trees (optional) - extended meshes of tundra trees with lighting fixes (optional) - extended meshes of reach trees with lighting fixes (optional) - extended meshes of Gildergreen Tree with lighting fixes (optional)
INSTALLATION:
- download and launch installer via Mod Organizer or other convenient organizer
BUGS: if you notice some appearing and disappearing darkened branches on trees then you can increase fTreesMidLODSwitchDist to 8192 or even higher (more performance heavy) in SkyrimPrefs.ini (located in Documents\My Games\Skyrim folder, in case of Mod Organizer - in ModOrganizer\Skyrim\profiles folder (you can check path in settings of MO))
