WorldEncounters – Random or otherwise
WorldEncounters are leveled as in Skyrim (run away if it looks bigger than you!). However some of the bad guys in Shumer that you may recognise are not the same as in Skyrim (eg Edimmu may look like skeletons but they start at level 7) I will do a bestiary on the wiki at some point.
Underground Encounters are semi leveled and not so forgiving, low level characters beware. Usually consist of a staged encounter followed by random ones.
Quests in General
I am not a fan of quest markers except when returning to a questgiver so don't expect many. Npc's or books/journals/letters will generally give you enough information to work out where to go (allthough they do assume you know where the main places are) ... -
This provides the Tamreil end of Shumer and is also an independent mod so if you want details of what's in it check out my Pirates of the North page.
The Shumer updates will always have the latest version of Pirates required by Shumer it will not necessarily be in sync with the independent Mod.
If you see a later version on the Pirates page you can if you wish safely download that and upgrade the Shumer version. The only caveat is if the new version includes new scripts and sounds (which is pretty certain) you will need the piratesnorth bsa file until a Shumer update comes out. ...
