Iam using the latest version (2.1A) and see lots of weird stretching in the sky, looks like some tree mesh gone weird. Fixed it by using Little happy tree resources Instal both mod and let little happy tree (delete esm and esp) overwrite this mod
I did install both mods and I unchecked Fabled forest esp. letting happy little tree on but in game I only seem to have the happy little trees, no change from before, no bigger Fabled trees type. Anything else I should do? I always install my mods manually btw. Edit: I activate Fabled forest esp. with Happy little tree also and I finally got it to work! But after a few minutes my game crashed. I will try again lowering the resolution to see if it helps. I played at 1440p. I have a recent card RX 7800 XT and 32 Gb or ram, maybe something else is bugging it. And btw I had some stretching lines leaving trees to the ground and in the sky at some places. **PROBLEM SOLVED, SEE POST IN GREEN BELOW**
Dear author, I have tested the latest version of your mod. I would like to inform you that bugs with tree stretching are still present in the models of the Fabled Forest mod. To be more precise, the error appears on certain models: treepineforestsnowL01, treepineforestsnowL02, treepineforestsnowL03, treepineforestsnowL04, treepineforestsnowl05. The treepineforest01, treepineforest02, treepineforest03, treepineforest04, treepineforest05 models cause a crash error on the desktop. (I'm not saying that the mod is to blame, I have two different tree mods combined). Disabling esp does not fix the crash. As soon as the model was cut out and replaced with the SFO model, the departure disappeared. But after replacing all the models from the Little Happy Tree mod, these two errors were fixed. Now I have FabledForest.esp working properly together with SFO, everything looks very nice and beautiful. I've been testing this for a week now, so far no crashes or crashes have been observed.
Thank you! I copy the treepineforest01, ...02, ...03, ...04, ...05 from the HappyLittleTrees data/mesh/Landscape/trees folder and I paste them in the Fabled Forests mesh folder replacing the ones that are there. Then I activate the Fabled Forests mod but deactivate HappyLittleTrees mod, that's it. No more stretching lines from trees and no crash after that, finally!
I reverted changes to all of them back to Happy Little Trees meshes just to be safe in Vortex, and it fixed most, but not all, I'm still having an issue with one type of tree. It appears to be an issue with one of the regular Pine Trees but I cant figure out which one.
I was about to say something to the off-putting dead pine tree barks on morthal but I accidentally fixed it. I'm confused with the green fix below. Maybe because I installed HLT first before FF and manually copied the said meshes to FF. Where I could just install FF first (all default) then HLT (all default) and let it overwrite FF files and disable HLT.esp via MO2. Just HLT and FF no addons.
Yes it did fixed the stretching and the weird over sized bark skinning I saw earlier, but something is still going on (remember I installed everything by default) in morthal
Yes there's an exclude option in the fomod but I've tried those it doesn't work. If I missed something please let me know. I don't know if there's still more of these. I'm currently making a new setup so earlier fix the better
I was thinking of using weird tree bugs but... hehe
Hello, thanks for the mod, great work, I like it a lot. Can you please make a patch for https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50978? Or if it is compatible, I don't want to use immersive citizen since it has some incompatibility with jk skyrim.
For these trees, you just need to load the ESP, without meshes and textures. This solves the performance problem, trees don't wobble like crazy and treetops don't stretch like threads across the sky.ESP uses your textures and meshes. The only problem I can't solve in my game is that some trees are suspended in the air, at some distance from the ground.
I just literally tested this version again today and still did not see any tree top issues I mean it when I say I have zero clue how you all are having issues and that I have never had these issues.
Individually, computers are as different as people. You made the mod on your own computer with your own setup and system, so you will get predictable results. I would suggest to the Users to Screenshot the malfunctioning trees so that this Author know where to look.
Farzaneh I have walked all though the Falk, northern forests and the forest area of the Rift on that version and it never happened which is why the mod was set to an archive up until I updated not long ago to try again.
I pinned a post saying a fix to it that does not involve removing this mod's plugins so if you or anyone else has that issue with the new version then try that fix

Issues relating to LE ports may only be in the LE version which reporting it to the SE/AE author takes time away from what they are doing.
Only report LE port issues on the SE/AE page if it happens both on LE and SE/AE, never if it is only on the LE version to your knowledge.
Fixed it by using Little happy tree resources

thanks for the port, its awesome

Namely:
TreePineForestSnowL01.nif
TreePineForestSnowL02.nif
TreePineForestSnowL04.nif

How is your game setup?
Also have you turned off the plugin for HLT?
Edit:
to the mod author kindly please make the comment above a sticky as it really helps.
I mean it when I say I have zero clue how you all are having issues and that I have never had these issues.
I tried going back to the ugly vanilla trees and I think I'd rather have the occasional telephone wires than those

I added some screenshots ;)
