- All the files from this mod have been packaged into a FOMOD installer. - A new variant of armored Draugr has been added. It can be encountered in ancient tombs. - A number of patches for mods which could trigger the Dragonstone bug have been added. - Difficulty options have been added. - Regular enemies have had their skill-based bonuses halved. - Some general bugfixing and rebalancing.
EDIT: The file was reuploaded on 21/4/2025 to fix a small mistake with one of the file paths in the installer. You don't need to redownload it if you installed it on 20/4/2025.
hi mate, MO2 says the fomod installer is not correct when i try to install mortal enemies patch
EDIT : Found the issue mate. in module config. the folder is named "mortal enemies patch" whereas the folder is named as "Mortal enemies" hence the issue. quick fix - just delete "patch" in "mortal enemies patch" in moduleconfig.html and repack the mod. it will work
Hm. None of the mods you listed look like they should affect the Dragonstone. Do you use any mods that affect the Bleak Falls Barrow Quest?
EDIT: I just realized that this is for the Legendary Edition of Skyrim, and that I actually forgot to upload the latest version of T.R.D. for that (had to update the FOMOD installer, put that off, update slipped my mind). I'll see if I can get that done this week, and check if I need to make any patches for mods that affect the BFB quest. For now you can progress the quest using this console command:
setstage MQ103 180 My apologies for the inconvenience.
ok mate. thank you. yeah its a legendary edition. will the update be save compatible? Edit. Saw the message regarding update in the description. Skimmed through it earlier.
That mod might actually be the one conflicting with T.R.D. and causing the Dragonstone bug. I'll check and add a patch for it if necessary. I don't think using the console will interfere with it, but make a backup of your save just in case.
the bug is really random because previous two playthrough with that mod i was able to get dragonstone but this time i am stuck with that bug no matter which save i go back to :(
i couldn't wait mate. tried the console command it worked. advanced to next stage then when i went to farengar the scene with delphine played out and farengar dialogue played out and the mission was completed. Not So Fast - Main Quest at Skyrim Nexus - Mods and Community quest markers too worked because after giving dragonstone to farengar you can buy breezehome in whiterun which happens.
I wasn't really worried about the console command breaking things, as all it does is advance the quest to the next stage. But it's good to have confirmation that everything works as it should. I'll provide a patch for Not So Fast so the issue will be avoided in future playthroughs.
I tested mate. i think the mod (Not So Fast - Main Quest at Skyrim Nexus - Mods and Community) is the culprit. Everytime i create a character i used mcm to change the days in that mod in the beginning along with other mods. so now i created a new character without touching the "not so fast" mod mcm and played till bleak falls barrow and the dragonstone dropped. i think setting up mcm in "not so fast" in the beginning triggers a script that creates the dragonstone bug so if you look into it i think you will understand better. so its better to leave at default days for the "not so fast" mod if one intends to play without your patch. anyways thanks for entertaining me in this fiasco i created and for creating and porting this mod to LE :)
Well, I just finished making a patch for Not So Fast (and three other mods that could cause the Dragonstone bug), which I will be uploading later this week when I update the FOMOD installer for TRD. So you'll be able to make full use of Not So Fast's functionality without issues. Your post helped me identify another mod that could conflict with TRD (for the Special Edition too), so thank you for the information you provided. Have fun fighting my undead!
May you upload a version that only affected the named/unique draugrs? I'm using draugr upgrades and improvements but that mod doesn't touch fjori and holgeir plus olaf look different compared to his look in sovngarde. Loves both of your work
I will be changing Olaf's look again for this mod anyway, and that will include giving him the same armor to his Sovngarde version (not that undead Olaf and Sovngarde Olaf matched in vanilla). I might consider a bosses only cosmetic version, but that's a low priority right now since I'd rather work on new updates first.
I would definitely recommend switching from DU.I. to this if you start a new game.
If you use the Unofficial Patch make sure you install The Restless Dead's USLEEP Patch, otherwise the Bleak Falls Barrow quest will break. Do this when you install the mod, not after you have played through Bleak Falls Barrow."
how about mentioning this on the first page so people don't play through BFB only to find out they've wasted their time?
If you use USLEEP and a mod has an USLEEP patch, you install the USLEEP patch. People shouldn't need the extra prompt, but despite having it pinned in a sticky post I still have to explain this every few days. I will post the warning on the main page as suggested, because everyone reads descriptions thoroughly, right? At any rate, the patch shouldn't be needed as from whenever I get time to get the next update out.
If you don't want to play through BFB again you can use the console to advance the quest. I can post instructions on how to do that if you need help.
Update 1.2.4 is up, and makes the following changes:
- A number of bugs were fixed. - The female Draugr in Leather Armor were reworked, they now have improved models and textures, and variants that reflect their level. - Draugr in Iron Scale Armor were added. They may be encountered in Ancient Tombs.
The USLEEP patch has been incorporated into the main file, and SHOULD no longer be necessary. There MAY be conflicts with mods that alter the Bleak Falls Barrow quest, if any are encountered please report them and I will patch them. I will leave the USLEEP patch up until I ascertain that it is indeed obsolete.
Not sure if it’s intentional, but on legendary I’m being one shotted by the lower level undead even with 300 armour rating and also while having 80% damage resistance from dragon hide activated, also while blocking.
Some two handed wielding draugr hit me while at level 20, I blocked with all that active and they one shot me every time.
Seems like no amount of protective spells are reducing their damage on me, and this was a regular draugr, the first ones I encountered walking into a dungeon.
That's way too much damage. Do you use any mods that distribute spells or perks to enemies via SPID or similar mechanisms? Also, keep in mind that at Legendary difficulty enemies deal three times the damage, that's probably making the issue worse.
''Not Lore friendly???'' I appreciate the fact that you have made the draugr different in the different tombs and such instead of the Dragon Cultist Draugr everywhere. I guess,.....jet speeders and firearms are lore friendly. Why don't those people who are saying your mod isn't lore friendly go harass those modders. I don't need you to make the draugr a copy of The Hobbit or Game of Thrones. You have taken the 'redundant' vanilla draugr and given more interesting variety to Skyrim. Thank You! :- )
The criticism was aimed more often at Draugr Upgrades and Improvements, but it seems like some people have a problem with steel armor on draugr, even rusty old armor But I'm pleased to hear you're enjoying my work.
