I extracted the vanilla female animations from the Animations.bsa, and replaced the animations from this mod with it. Now all vanilla females and modded females using the opposite gender animations are walking like females. :)
Oh, I'll check that out, thanks. You can delete \326343\male\mt_runforward.hkx and mt_sprintforward.hkx for now, if you want the vanilla animations back.
If I understand it right you are going to install this manually? Did you succeed? (Extract the zip file > put the meshes folder in the data folder - voila.)
awesome as always, thank u Xtudo! now if i can only get DAR working. and that npc in the 2nd video reminds me of a character from a sci-fi show called Lexx, years ago, Kai iirc
I had this problem when i played Skyrim for the first times , but i think they have changed that , because now all my female housecarls walk normally , the potential followers like Mjoll , Adelaisa , Jenassa etc ... too . I use no mod for that . I have still this problem with some others , essentially guards-soldiers and all female orcs .
Even though I have another mod that mostly "fixes" the bro-walk, this will be great for the ones that resist it, LOL. Thanks so much XTUDO and the original mod maker. Kudos to ya both.
If you're talking about this one, its the one I've always used. Honestly though I prefer that to this, and part of that is because I always found the animation looked dumb even on male characters. I've always referred to it as the 'gorilla stance', because that's what it always looked like to me! Yeah, No Heavy Muscular Walk causes clipping issues in the armpits, but honestly I never notice it unless I'm looking for it.
Thank you for mentioning that mod. Had never heard of that one before. It looks good. The one I was referring to is "No Opposite Gender Anims for Females" from 2017.
