Okay, not really related to the mod, but does that bunny in one of the screenshots look transparent to anyone else? I swear it looks like you can see forest floor through it, mainly the torso. Is it actually that well camouflaged somehow? Am I colorblind, my monitor screwing up. Am I just going crazy?
I think it's just coincidental that the shaded parts of the rabbit blend in really well with that landscape texture. I can definitely see what you're talking about though!
Thanks for porting this. I think it would be a nice touch if there was some immersive kind of message that announces when a new season starts (since it is easy to miss). "Spring has arrived! Trees are sprouting, the birds are singing, the breeze is blowing, and bears are slowly waking up from their long sleep"
I think this was meant to be used alongside an SE-only mod that added seasonal changes to the landscape. Last I checked, the MO of that claimed it wasn't possible to back port, due to it needing features not found in the LE version of skse.
You mean seasons of skyrim I think? I thought, since that mod apparently cannot be ported, the immersive messages might help recognizing when a new season starts (since we lack the visual clues). But I can easily add them myself
SKSE 64 is the reason it has not been backported as you would need to remake it for SKSE 32 if what InDarkestNight said is true though then it will not ever happen
While I do like the idea of seasonal change messages (especially for LE), I don't think I'll be adding them to the mod (at least, not in the near future). If you do end up adding them yourself though, I'd encourage you to publish it as a mod!
I wonder if the difference is worthy enough to start a new game or not. I also don't think I ever make it to a season change in game, much less a whole year.
I suppose is a good idea but I can't picture in my mind this being noticable, at least for me, there only a few animals in Skyrim anyways. I do use Savage Skyrim, don't know if its the same as skytest and the patch would work.
I see no reason why it would. The SE page has a patch for Immersive Creatures among various other popular animal mods. Who knows if they'll ever be backported. I wouldn't have thought it was possible, but before I thought it was impossible to back-port this. Same story with Classical Lichdom. Guess someone figured out a solution to backporting SE skse scripts to the outdated version used for Oldrim.
SIC does require a patch. It's taking me a bit more work to backport because the SIC SE version is different from the LE version. Hopefully I'll have it up later this evening though.
why i dont have that same falling aspen leaves ground in my game ,is that a grass mod ? also is ur neat little mod compatible with skyTEST much appreciated
They are from a grass mod, but I'm not honestly sure which one; I'm running a mash-up of several.
It is compatible with SkyTEST, although I do have patch for it which gives SkyTEST's baby animals a semblance of growth over the seasons. I'll try to get that uploaded later today.

I've added a patch for Savage Skyrim.
DrMonops, maybe it might be worth a small notation such as "Link to:"?
