The armor is beautiful, you get it in an interesting way, and don’t just come and take it from a chest or forge it.A huge minus is the HDT requirement, because without it the armor does not look normal, and with it nothing moves. Why it was necessary to do physics in armor without physics is unclear. I deleted it only because of this, and it’s a shame.
Absolutely top notch armors, but sadly there are bugs. The lantern armor don't glow properly. You must use HDT or some armors like Saltplains will bug and so on. I'm pretty sure it's a difficult mod to port to LE because SMP and other traits.
:) All of these Velothi Outfits look really great, and they fit exactly with my "Raven Rock/Mine Expansion" mod , a good number of new character some ashlanders, some others and most story wise "Right off the boat(s)" from Morrowind. The only issue is the *Replacement part; I would like to Expand the outfits, not supersede/replace them. Is there a way I can add these (parts 1 & 2) as *Standalone and not as a replacer?
Well, he worked in the new and clean Save, but I don't want to abandon me for 400 hours of game Save because of this armor MOD. I want to know that there is something in ESP that can't make it join the game midway? Do you have any solution?
This adds a lot of stuff to the game in worldspaces edits, NPCs, Level Lists, Outfit edits, FormIDlists, Containers, Cells edits and more you can not install this mid-game.
that's something especific applied to this mod, certainly removing esps midgame gives troubles, but adding ? damn. these velothi armors be having some weird issues on backport
@Oyhuria It is not a weird issue if you know how this .ESP and Skyrim code works. At 400 hours you have most likely loaded most of the Dragonborn DLC areas which this has a lot of edits for so when you add this it conflicts with your existing save data and crashes.
@Hershal721 Nothing is broken, it is just conflicts with the save data make a new game save and it will work fine. If you would check the .ESP it is a bigger mod and not just a normal armour mod. I even said why it conflicts with save data and what it adds in earler posts.
Honestly, if it add's THAT MUCH new stuff to the game, it should be in the description. Nowhere does it say it add's anything other than outfits & weapons?! Of course people are going to experience CTD problems when they arnt even told wtf they are downloading.
@dangermouse330 But it does say and to quote the discription: "Comes with a shield and two weapons, worn by Captain Veleth, acquired at the end of Raven Rock's questline. Craftable, same requirements as vanilla bonemold" "Comes with a bow and arrows. Found on a corpse near Frostmoth Fortress. Craftable, same requirements as vanilla chitin" "Sold by a travelling merchant near the gates of Riften. Craftable, same requirements as vanilla chitin" "Acquired during the quest Distant Memories. Craftable, same requirements as vanilla bonemold" "Found in the Fallowstone Cave. Craftable, same requirements as vanilla bonemold" "Comes with a weapon and a tattoo available if you have racemenu. Worn by thugs in Traitor's Post. Craftable, same requirements as vanilla bonemold" "Morag Tong Seeker Set - Comes with two weapons. Worn by Morag Tong members in Solstheim. Craftable, same requirements as vanilla chitin" "Morag Tong Grandmaster Set - Comes with a weapon. Worn by an NPC in Ashfallow Citadel. Craftable, same requirements as vanilla chitin"
All of what I made bold implies that it edits Level Lists, Quests, Worldspaces, Cells, Character Customization, NPCs and Outfits.
@turtlegodking what you say does make sense, but its still quite absurd for it to cause CTD, majority of armor and weapon mods doesnt cause this big problem.
for now i'm just missing a small script so npcs wearing these armor gets their smp disabled so my game dont crash every time i get in raven rock. similar to hdt cloaks
Lol, in my case the issue was in deletion of a bandit boss which I probably have as a quest target or smth. So undeleting it from .esp fixed CTD for me. Hope that helps ;)
Hey, enjoying this mod so far thanks! However Im not sure if its only me but the traveller's backpack seems to glow (not emitting light, but does not have shadows and the mesh is entirely visible during the night). It really breaks immersion when in interiors or dark surroundings. Could you make it so that only the lantern has this effect? Or even better, make the lantern emit light?
Despite doing everything i can, i started a new save everything went well and it was working wonderfully, until i logged off for the night, the next day i came back and the same thing happened again, all the armors are just wrong and the movements don't work, im a little new to modding but im sure i did everything right.... can anyone help?
Yeah, those XML files are for HDT SMP. Try to install Easy Hawt mod by btasqan. It's HDT SMP for LE. And it makes those lantern and bottles physic move smoothly.

So you need to start a new one for it to work

PS: I'm just not sure if the XML files in the armor folders are for HDT PE, SMP or they were just left there. I couldn't get the physics to work.
