Thanks for the port. Looks absolutely stunning, but 8k was serious overkill for my monitor, and my bad eyes, so I ended up downsizing everything to 4k.

      Using Cathedral Assets Optimiser:

Have the Show Advanced Settings box ticked where it says "Open Directory"

      BSA Tab:

      • Nothing ticked in the Base box.
      • Nothing ticked in the Extra box
      • In the Advanced box: I personally set the Maximum Size to 10.00 GB, you can set it to whatever. Set Game to "Skyrim LE"

      Meshes Tab:

      • Nothing ticked in the "Process Meshes" box.
      • Nothing ticked in the "Advanced" box
      • In the "Expert" box:

      • Version: Fallout 3 / Skyrim / Skyrim SE / Fallout 4 (V20_2_0_7)
      • User: Fallout 3 / Skyrim / Skyrim SE / Fallout 4 (12)
      • Stream: Skyrim (83)

      Textures Tab:

      • Tick "Process Textures" and "Downsizing"
      • In the Process Textures box, tick "Necessary Optimization" and "Generate Mipmaps"
      • In the "Downsizing" box, leave "By Ratio" unticked, type 2 in the "Height" and "Width" Boxes.
      • Tick "By Fixed Size" Instead. Type 2048 In the "Height" and "Width" Boxes.

      Advanced Tab:

      • Tick "Enable TGA Conversion"
      • In the Output Format, select BC1 (BC1_UNORM)
      • Tick "Interface"
      • In Unwanted Formats, select R32G32B32A32_FLOAT

After setting the above, set the output directory to wherever you mod's texture folder is installed to in MO2's "mods" folder after your mod is installed.

      Click "Run" and wait.

I'll say a few things after having installed this. This is my opinion and experience so I don't know if it'll be the same to you or not. The Skyrim 'Update' textures make the Windhelm ground brown as in dirt-like. So I deleted the ground textures from that pack only. Also the Stone Wall Textures from the Architecture Folder make the stone wall textures from Farmhouses really dark and it doesn't mesh well with the rest of the textures so I deleted that too. Other than that everything is fine. Just thought I'd point these out for anyone having the same problems.

Hello, thank you very much for porting this mod for LE, but you have not considered a point. Most of the people who still play Skyrim LE are because of their weak computer, they cannot run the special edition and have to play LE. If they had a computer that could run Skyrim with 8k textures, they would go and play Skyrim SE. I request that you also put the 2k version of this beautiful mod on the site so that we can use this mod more easily. Thank you

To be that guy a lot of people (My self incuded) play LE because the ENBs look better and it is not currently broken by a unneeded update (A lot of people are comming back to LE because of this) not just because LE runs better on low end PCs.

If you need 2k you can just use Ordenador to downscale it to as low as 512 if needed.

I agree with turtlegodking....i got pissed off by the updates of SE... i actually like some CC armors...but the mod breaking updates isnt worth two armors.

If you meant all the files in the download section, then yes. I also have ENB and SMIM. I meant to reinstall and try the mods out in isolation, but IRL stuff got in the way. I'll update if I find anything.

having black textures with treepineforestcutlog and treepineforestcut textures showing up as black, however if i overwrite these with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64267?tab=files "4K Tree and Parallax for Pines by Pfuscher", these black textures disappears not sure if its a vram problem or texture problem if anyone encountered this probem, happened on the road from Honningbrew Meadery to whiterun stable.

That's why I was hoping for an official response, if you look at latest upload/update, 2018 has been updated after 1 to 5 on the list I mentioned.

Thank you. I have been using bits and pieces of your work for years. First time I tried a complete rework of things as this seems to be. Very nice. Already had my modding/texture list filled to the brim so this made my fps drop to an average 35. But still on the ultra settings and grass density 20. Decided to start a new game and mix my older mods with this one. Thanks again and greetings :)
