Is this compatible with 'The Power of Blood'? That mod makes it to where your VL has certain supernatural abilities and stats even when he isn't transformed.
I opened up the base to look for scripts with the same name and ended up with PlayerVampireQuestScript.pex being in both. I do not know a much about scripts so I do not know if it is normal vampire or vampire lord but this I can say is the file that would be the issue.
Edit: Not really sure how to fix this as I said I do not know much about scripts
Oh well: thanks for trying anyway. If I decide to ever just do a non custom character run someday when the Lunar Equinox coincides with the planets aligning (in other words, probably never, lol), I'll give this baby a shot! Ba-da bing! Ba-da boom (just like that)!
Ah, would you look at that? It turns out, putting this mod at the very bottom of the load order, starting a new game as a Vampire Lord via ASLAL, and then switching to the custom race via ShowRaceMenu Alternative (A 'highly' recommended mod for any playthrough) after Harkon is done blathering, it works 99.9% as it should: huzzah, I say!
On that note, how does the 'forsaken' feature work with mods that add in more deities, such as Enai's own Wintersun? It would be a bit odd for this mod to dampen the blessing from Molag Bal, especially given that worshipping him encourages you to live as a vampire.
I want to use this for my next playthrough, but was wondering if it is safe to use backported mods like this? I read that they can be unstable or corrupt saves etc?
All of my ports have been fully tested or they would not of been uploaded. Konahrik33 knows how this mod is ment to work and did all the testing and updated me each time something was tested in which everything worked correctly. I have no clue where you heard that they are unstable as only people that do not correctly convert the .ESP/.ESM will have that issue in their mod and I can say for a fact that the SE to LE TES5Edit script was ran on this mod and all of my other mods that have .ESPs and .ESMs.
I have read a few times while scanning for new mods that people believe CK32 breaks SSE esps or so. My knowledge on backporting (or forward porting) is non-existent so I was cautious to install them.
I can now install this mod without it staying on my mind
You are correct about ck32 breaking .ESPs in the sense that if you convert it with the CK and not the TES5Edit script it will break. If someone says it is as easy as using the CK to backport the .ESP they are lying as that only works for LE to SE.
True Directional Moveement can not be backported becasue it needs SKSE 64bit (SE) which does not work with SKSE 32bit (LE) On top of that SKSE mods in genral are classed as basicly imposible to backport at this point in time. If this was not the case I would of backported it by now. But here is a link to a guide for other mods that are not SKSE 64bit: Link
Sorry but I didn't make this and know very little about scripting, I ported it from SE and a friend that knew how the mod was ment to work tested it for me so that won't be happing unless someone makes a patch that does that as the permssions are open like the original.
Thank you so much for your backport, bud. I have tried some npc pack but I am not skilled enough to backport quests and gameplay mechanism mods like these

edit: Damn, it isn't.
I think it's the vampire-related PEX file, but I'm not sure if it's the vampire lord one or just the vampire one.

Thanks again!

Edit: This is the script I am talking about:

I'm aware. I'm just a bit wary not knowing exactly what this mod is and isn't compatible with.
Cool, thanks!
