For those looking for some of my smaller odd mods they are all here now. Apologies on the lack of details on using them. I don't have the energy currently to create fully detailed descriptions of each one and some of them are so old I would have to open them up in the CK to refresh my memory on specific details. For the most part, outside of the two race mods, they are very simple and basic and shouldn't conflict with much of anything except another mod that does the same thing (i.e. don't try to use two Garulf or Thrynn overhaul mods at the same time).
The Nord Wolf-Blooded, if I recall right, by default comes with the werewolf blood already granted and able to use as a lesser power, plus a weakness to fire, and some enhancements as well. The MTE version removes the werewolf power since it conflicts with how MTE handles transformations. If using MTE you will need to get the power with the console or some other method. Not ideal, as the whole idea is that the Wolf-Blooded are a race of werewolves so they are born with it ... but can role play that their blood heritage doesn't take effect until later in life after some trauma. The Race Menu one I don't recall why that is needed. Only that a friend said there was a conflict (this was years ago as this mod was the first one I ever made) and gave me a patched version. There are no real images needed for this mod since it is just CK edits. The race will use Nord options and whatever textures, tats, etc., you have installed.
Chaos Tiefling has a lack of images for the other horns and ears for now. The alternative horns are tall ones (there is one back shot of a female with them). If you try to use this race after game start with show race menu you will get black eyes and few options. Work around is to select another race then go back. That always works for me but I don't use mods like ECE or Race Menu so not sure how they affect it. Also you can't easily save presets with it. This was a design choice so that when making one you could use all the eyes, hair, colors, etc., that come with the game. I provided flexibility and options in place of being able to save or change the looks all the time.
I have a new PC on back-order and once it gets here my plan is to put SE/AE on it. This will be the 4th time I try SE. If I find I like it enough I will see about converting the rest of my mods over. If I don't then, well, they will be here at least.
Do you have plans of making a SE version of Thrynn? Please? I tried to convert it myself, but, just like with this LE version, I instantly crash as soon as he comes close :(
The mod itself shouldn't crash your game; if its crashing its some sort of mod conflict on your end. If you have a similar line-up in SE as LE it would continue. You need to troubleshoot and find out what mod(s) you use causing a conflict. I know he works fine in LE as I am currently using Thrynn in LE right now (although using MVFM and not RDO ... could be an RDO conflict but no one else has reported any issues so seems doubtful).
His basic looks converted fine for me in SE when I did some testing. The issue is more around his requirement to use either MFVM, which is an old LE mod no longer on Nexus, or RDO. RDO has been migrated to SE. If I convert him to SE it would have to be RDO and not sure if I would have to remake him to do that or not ... as the RDO version is not the same ... which is why I haven't done it yet. That and I only play Thrynn with my character Wulver and I only play Wulver in LE right now.
Anyhow I will probably convert him at some point when I need a little side project and I am in the mood. I already converted some of my other mods but haven't uploaded them yet. Lots going on these days. Hope to at some point.
Hey, I love the Thrynn character you've created and was excited to download. I was wondering where I might be able to locate the HeadScarf that he wears in the photos/in your stories? Much appreciated!
Thank you! Probably my favorite follower along with Erik, Farkas, and Argis. I got the head wrap from this follower mod, which, while incomplete, is great and I have him in all my play throughs: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53530
Thanks so much! The headgear almost looks like it could be a conversion of Iorveth's armor from Witcher 2. Anyway, I love it, and I'm starting a new game with Thrynn as a companion. Appreciate your sharing!
Super ... congrats to your release Jon!!! ... I love the cute little bear Rumper so much. Will test it with EFF I am using and give you a feedback after! Where can I find him please?
Thanks Astra! Oh good question lol. That would be useful wouldn't it. Been so long ... I know originally I put him just outside of Riverwood. Leave the town by going over the river bridge. When you get to the other side he should be to the left side of the lamp post, some where along riverbank/woods area. If you don't find him I will take a look in-game myself or open up in the CK. Will also update the description for him.
THX for high speed support! I ve no CK but TES5Edit I used to get the location. It is near the Riverwood Bridge! ... As I ve said: Feedback come after tested with EFF!
Info-Update: Yes, found him over the Riverwod Bridge to WR near the little waterfall left. He was awoken between some bushes there as I ve searched him. He growled a bit like a bear there - HAHA. And he really works perfect in regular version with using EFF for Follower Management! Many thx for him - a so cute little bear!!!
Hiya! I've been following your stories on here for quite a while on here Skyrim and Fallout as well as your Sims post. You always do such a awesome job with detail both with the story and pictures. I've even saved a few pictures for my desktop (hope you don't mind :p). I added Thrynn to my game today. This is perfectly timed for the new playthrough I'm setting up for. The races sound interesting too. :)
Hey thanks for the very nice comment and glad you enjoy my stories and posts! It is always cool if someone likes a shot well enough to make a desktop out of it :)
Thrynn rocks, one of my favorite NPC's in Skyrim :)
