I didn't have this issue with NMM (The one I use) but I will say I would not use vortex for modding skyrim since it has been known to cause issues like you mentioned, I would recommend you use NMM or MO since they have less issues (Up to you) but if you still want to use Vortex you should be able to fix it by doing a manual install. I hope this helps.
On my end it seems to just be in the inventory so it does not seem to affect the game but I will reconvert it to see if it fixes it. Edit: It seem I had failed to convert the female meshs correctly, should be fixed now.
You were right, I manually downloaded the file and was looking through the mesh contents was filled with a bunch of missing files from the folder that vortex created, adding them in there fixed it and it works now
