    • New Version 2.9

      • Added Full Body Stagger. This feature greatly increases combat difficulty. You have to be extra careful not to get hit by a power
attack or a shield bash, otherwise you'll get stunned. When enabled, any incoming stagger will stun the player and interrupt all actions, just like staggering an NPC actor.

You can enable/disable Full Body Stagger through the MCM "Health Settings" page.

This mod is what I was looking for from a while to be honest. But I have question. I like to play as puremage - so we know how fragile thay are at least at the beginning of the game. So if Healing is disabled can be On in settings in McM ? I rather have possibility to use Spells to heal myself.
2nd question is about Combat and stamina... I use Duel - Combat Realism https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2700?tab=description from years and just cant stop use it. How this two mods would ( or maybe not ) cooporate together ?

    Many thanks

Health Regen can be switched OFF in the MCM and you can only heal yourself by using spells.
Duel - Combat Realism is compatible if loaded after my mod. Maybe you'll need to turn some Stamina Settings off, plus "Full Body Stagger" under Health Settings, as combat will become very hard otherwise.

Hi. I'm back to thank you again for this mod. Works great, this is what I was looking for for so long. I'm currently playing on Easy settings. This difficulty was to my liking.
      It has always irritated me that my protagonist can run endlessly without any consequences. So I usually just walked (usually on autopilot <Coma> key). Except that my protagonist walked not only slowly, but slower than the NPC. That's why I used concole;
      player.forceav speedmult 125
Unfortunately, this command also has an effect on running and sprinting, so should choose this value carefully.
Now... on the loverslab website, page for 18+ but to be precise, there are also great mods on this site that Not only for adults, like the great mod called Arachnophobia 0.32 by Kazyn, which completely changes the mechanics of fights with spiders. A lost fight ends with being wrapped in a cocoon ( you and yours followers) and being kidnapped to pits of spiders, where we have a chance to free ourselves by play minigame. By default settings for freeself is very hard, to I recommend to lower this value, to have more fun with this game. Also minimise % chance to being wraped in cocon by spiders its also to hihg in my opinion. And if not  free your self... well, we can set it in McM so that the protagonist can be eaten by spiders or not :laughting_devil_imp: It's a pity that the creator of the mod never made an addition to this mod for Chaurus. Also there is only one location of the cave to which these spiders drag us. Either way, great alternative. This spider system should be in the base content of Skyrim. I wholeheartedly recommend this mod.

Now.. on LL website is a mod called Wet Function Redux 39 by nop0x90 whitch makes an interactive feature that causes the body to sweat when the player casts spells or uses too much stamina, such as fighting and running. In the case that VDR2 consumes stamina while casting spells, we can turn off Mana consumption in Wet Function because it is pointless when we have VDR2. But this addon make VDR2 looks even more realistic now.
Wet Function also adds a real view of wet skin when it rains or we get out of the water (lakes, rivers and sea). It works great with the Wet and Cold mod by Isoku. The effect of sweat disappears on its own over time, but when we are wet ( rain/river or lake), it is a good idea to stand near a radiant heat source in Skyrim, such as a fireplace or a large vat of fire or like Campfire mod by Chesko. They dry out our skin
so I highly recommend using Vulture Dynamic Realism 2 with Wet Function mod.

Here is my old, very old screenshot here on nexusmod with Wet Function mod. You can see raindrops on the upper part of the torso (breast). Don't worry, my character is dressed ;) And her wet body glistens slightly, when there is a wet body effect. Of course, it all depends on the ENB you use. In one ENB there may be a nice light shine, in another it may look like smeared with tanning oil at a bodybuilding show.

For people who like immersion, I also recommend the Vitrium - Spells and Tools Pack mod by juhaaaa here on Nexusmods with which we can create bandages and, of course, the nice animation that accompanies it (thanks to the wonderful @Xtudo, which takes care of us fans of Skyrim LE and uploaded this mod on LE. Thank you very much mate for work).
      Of course, Vitrium requires DAR.
But, if someone likes really real challenges, I wholeheartedly recommend the Injury and Recovery System mod by Dailyplanet. This mod is completely underrated by players. I assume the low endorsement is a result of the mod that making the Skyrim game really difficult.
In the Injury and Recovery System (if we have the Campfire mod) we can create bandages that heal our wounds. Potions and spells no longer work when we have deep, serious wounds. The mod adds a nice healing mechanic, different recipes for treatment ointments, bandages. Mod really worth recommending.
And if that's not enough for someone, I also recommend the Sands of Time Sleeping Encounters Standalone Moduleby tonycubed2. Thanks to this modification, which does not require the Sands of Time, it means that when you are exhausted after the fight, we go to sleep half-dead to regain our lives and then... we are woken from sleep by some strange noises... I like the element of waking up, the screen is blurry, we don't really know what's going on and that's great.
In the McM settings, I recommend setting the spawn at Winterhool College to 5 because who would want to mess with the Mages? Do you remember the scene from Tolkien when Gandalf was preparing Frodo for his journey? Sam begged Gandalf not to turn him into a frog.
It should be the same with mages in Skyrim, ordinary, simple people are afraid of them. Even bandits.
I set Jorrvaskr to 10 and the sleep attack event in the Inn to 15-20. Other locations on 25, the rest on 35 and 45 etc. give self a chance.
There is also an important option in McM in which we can determine how many seconds will pass before the enemy attacks us from the moment we wake up.

So thanks again for this mod, it will be a gem in my mods load order from now on.

      Regards

This mod has lost its original design that characters should be forced only to walk and unable to draw the bow when they are exhausted.  With this new mod, now, you can run on and on without breathing even when you're exhausted, which is an absolutely bad idea that makes everything meaningless. Although the VDR1 has a bug that weather doesn't actually affect exhausted performance while the character can keep running under rainy or snowy weather, at least it has the necessary characteristics of the mod I'm looking for, and I can choose not to install the weather section, and remove the tasks associated with. I hope you will consider reinstating these elements.

Is there any way to make this mod compatible with Scrolling Speed? I usually slow down my running speed to a walking pace using the mouse wheel, but even tho my PC is walking, I still get penalized as if I were running

Ah, no, sorry, it's not possible. Scrolling Speed does not change the movement type when using the mouse wheel. You can only switch OFF relevant effects of my mod through the MCM, as a compromise.

I see. I was thinking maybe there could be less stamina consumption depending on the speedmult?

Nah, sorry. My modifications are script-free invisible perks. Perks can only check if "IsRunning" is true/false, speedmult needs a script and I don't want to use scripts for that and bloat the game.

    Hi
Thank you for such a good mod!, I've been waiting for such a mod
for a long time and I also have a question
does the mod have a full-body-stagger function like in wildcat?

For some reason.. my stamina gauge slowly depletes even when doing nothing. I'm sitting in Breezehome, perfectly healthy, naked, with less than 45kg in my inventory but I'm always tired. Is this the way it's supposed to work??

Sorry I forgot to get back to you.. I think my problem was a conflict with Better Vampires. I loaded your mod while playing a vampire.. while standing in the stamina draining sun.

I rolled back to a save where I was in an interior cell and I didn't have that problem
Is it safe to update or do I have to clean save first?

My mana is degenerating to about 90% then regens a little and repeats. This is at full health and disabling the setting for mana degeneration at low health stops the issue. This happens with the esp last in my load order and don't think anything I have is conflicting. Also an option to toggle the movement speed changes would be nice. I don't think it's realistic running in place when full sprinting...

This is a confirmed conflict and I've uploaded a patch on the SSE version to be tested by players and get feedback. If the feedback is positive, I'll release a fix for both SSE and LE.

Thanks a lot. I tracked this mod for future games.

In the past, i have seen some mods for manage stamina, but these mods only cover some some things, not everything.

I put here an idea and i have a question:

    - Walking while sneaking should drain Stamina

    - Stay in sneak mode (no walk and no run) should drain stamina too.

Both things requires a physical effort.

    - Execute a silent forward roll should consuming some stamina.

    - Jumping should consume some stamina.

    And now the question:

Why the options are not numeric data? For select a number between a range. This should give the users more control in their games and more control in the mod. I ask this question from the Unknowledge.

It's not possible to have numeric data, because of how the mod works, technically it's impossible.

      Thank you for your ideas!

      Hi Vulture,

Ok, I tested the mod with a little combat and just running around, so I wanted to share my thoughts.  The mod works pretty flawlessly, without any problems or delays which is great.

Keep in mind that I was using my mod Smite & Stagger, which means when you run out of stamina you cannot attack at all or even cast spells, which is pretty brutal, so stamina management is critical.

I'd like to suggest a couple tweaks that I think would benefit the mod, especially for folks using hardcore combat mods like myself.  Perhaps providing a way to tweak the values in the settings, especially for Blocking, 1-Handed and 2-Handed combat, so that you can tweak them down to very small amounts, as I would run out of stamina with about three normal weapon swings or one power attack and then I couldn't attack for a bit and would have to dodge a bit if I could because my TK Dodge is set to use 5 stamina points. Of course these are merely constructive suggestions, and my personal observations while using the mod.

So great job, and keep it up!

All and all a very good mod, so you have my endorsement!

      @OperatorCactus
I have the right to have an opinion, buddy.

Also I wasn't criticizing the mod author, or trying to bust anybody's chops. Just thought that with so many actions zapping stamina, it may make it hard to do most tasks.
But I still welcome the mods realistic approach to handling stamina, as in actuality, that is how stamina works in real life.
      It's a very goood addition.
