I've recently installed the Eagles Nest castle. That castle is visible from the distance due to the Vanilla LOD addon. That's a really nice feature as it helps blending the new architecture in game's worldspace. I've immediately come to thinking about the Valsteinn Keep. Because the Valsteinn Keep is definitely worth being called a Skyrim's sight to see and it is worth being visible from the distance. Besides, it's always a hit to immersion when huge things like towers and other architectural objects disappear as soon as you step a few units away from them.
So, I suggest you, Paul, to think about my suggestion and do a favour to your WONDERFUL mod!!! (I wonder if it's hard to achieve tho... Have no idea about that.)
I have a weak machine. I do not use DynDOLOD. I have no idea how to generate lod. Eagle's Nest LOD addon contains four .BTO files located in this folder: meshes\terrain\tamriel\objects\ That's what I am asking you for.
How to manage Followers to live in this castle? Serana don't have any dialogue to say something like "Live here now" or smth. Anyway, this mod is amazing. My favourite player house :D
Mod Organizer isn't able to open this file. I tried just opening it outside of MO with 7-zip, but that program won't open it. Help? I have no idea why it won't open.
After downloading, unzip it, name the folder data, compress the data folder, and temporarily edit any name. After that, you can install it through mo. I hope the translation software will inform you of my intention

Hi! I’ve used this mod and have unpacked the bsa’s and inspected the nifs and I can assure you after looking at pics from the mod you linked, that the two keep models are very different. The Norman Keep model in this mod has completely different merlons/crenellations and a much different base and has more stone trim details. This model is better and different. A very iconic look though.
Beautiful presentation in the screen-shots, nicely done. Is the upper parapet and roof accessible? I would love to be able to see approaching raider's and rain hell down upon them. How about a mote in a future update? Thank you for the Mod, concur with the other respondents, nice medieval feel to it.
