Sadly, when I disabled Climates of Tamriel, this mod stopped working. I have re-installed it, but no luck. The Climates of Tamriel has white flashing lights flying around for snow, which set-off seizures for me. I can not get this mod to work anymore.
This mod has no dependence on CoT. If that is the case, there is something else in your setup that is causing the issue. I would start by running BethINI to ensure your INI settings are sound. Sometimes mods will includes INIs that change certain settings. You may very well be missing something. Be sure to also check the description for installation and such.
The mod works great - thank you. :) One minor issue with the snowy farmhouses though - if you move towards the snowy farmhouses, the non-snowy spots will suffer from z fighting, resulting in the shape of the "holes" changing slightly with every step forward/backward. Is this a known issue?
I use it in combination with the new Vivd Landscapes - Snow. I think this is the best and most modern Snow texture overhaul, it looks just awesome with this mod in combination.
try Simplicity of Snow LE but you will need also SMIM By the way, i noticed snowy roofs is a SE esp. It loads in LE but i do not know how well it integrates in LE.
Typically users let ELFX overwrite BDS, which means you won't get snow on some objects. If you let BDS over ELFX, then you might get some light flickering on and off on some meshes. It all depends on the one you can live with more: some missing snow or a occasional flicker.
I'm having an issue that i've pinned down to BDS. Whenever i activate the mod, surfaces become "wet", and the alpha was broken around that place. When i disable BDS, skyrim white goo takes over, and everything looks normal. BDS on

I've already disabled everything (including USLEEP) but BDS, and switched snow textures (HQ Snow, Real Snow, Fluffy Snow, Glacies), to no avail.
EDIT: i also tested ENB off too, so it can't be it.
That has always been and probably always will be an issue. The snow retexture in use will change the look (as seen in the pictures), but that border is the edge of a branch (one with alpha and one without). Sparrow has done the best he could given all the factors involved. It's still an improvement over vanilla meshes.
Man, I've always wanted to try this, but I have so many mesh replacers along with custom edits to some of those that in order to make this work for my setup would take longer than I'm willing to commit :( I had already started all that editing and replacing before I found this in the Ruffled Feather. Is this the same thing or a more updated version than is shipped with Ruffled Feather?
Guys what other mountain textures/mods you recommend beside better Majestic mountains that blend nicely with BDS ? MM is too high res for low machines :/
