Hello! I would like to reiterate here, I'm not the mod author, I just ported the mod. Thanks again to Predence00 for letting me port your excellent mod!
I am no longer providing support for my LE mods, as I'm now focusing on my own mods for SE.
I will not be providing patches for mods that I don't use, as it's boring and I'm only modding for my own entertainment.
Backport tutorial is here. A good tutorial on how to make compatibility patches is here (NSFW site!)

Problems? Bug reports? You need to do these steps first.
Test with a minimal load order (ie., this mod and Dime's Quick Start) Almost every single time the 'bug' being reported is actually a mod conflict. If this fixes your problem, add back other mods and rearrange your load order to proceed to test things out. Please don't count on LOOT alone to sort your mods, using xEdit and learning to manually resolve conflicts yourself will save you some heartbreak.
Test on a new save
Check the other comments and the Bugs tab to see if someone else has had the same issue, and how they fixed it.
If your issue is not fixed after trying the above, feel free to make a post (please mention what you did to try to do to fix it!) That being said, I tested this mod with an otherwise empty load order and encountered no issues with the vanilla game.
Good mod . Most of them are well-made , only the nightingale lowered hood looks too big . And for the " hood up an hood down " , we just need these versions and the vanilla ones in our inventory to change when we want . ( there are two mods on Nexus to obtain the monk hoods ) . Thank you !
Man someone just need to make a mod with these models but where you can switch between hood up and hood down, maybe using DAR... now tha would be amazing...
if thats what your after then this mod will work for you https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/89751 it has a toggle key button in the mcm menu you can set you can select the armor and the model you want to swap between
Says it only works on the player. Personally, I'd be extra-special happy with just a replacer version. I really don't care if I ever see a hood up again in this game. It makes every mage-ish sort look almost identical (as well as "Traveller" vampires, priests/priestesses, and various NPCs who just have hoods).
This mod's a great start though. I can at least give a hood-down robe to Illia if I want her still in a robe.
love this thank u! using it w/ wet n cold and it works well. npcs will often have both the lowered and the normal wnc hood on at the same time but it looks fine.
I do in fact know you're not the mod author but having fiddled with the mod yourself in your gameplay are you aware as to whether or not the mod relies on texture in the games files? Im wondering if the texture will "update" if i use a higher resolution texture mod like Rustic Clothing or Book of Silence so that way there wouldn't be any texture resolution clash. :)
My fear and what i expect to be the obvious situation is that it will be unaffected if i download such a texture mod as these are separate items altogether.
They should use whatever vanilla replacer you have installed- I use Rustic Clothing and have nicely textured hoods! (I think Frankly HD’s Nightingale is an unusual case to require a patch)
I've looked for a lowered hood mod for Skyrim for my Assassin / Thief Character but to no avail, since the SE version was yet to be ported to LE, but now, my character can have a lowered hood thanks to you
I will now sacrifice Nazeem to Boethiah to honor this mod
