I somehow can't get the mod to work. It shows up in MCM and seems fine but no functionalities and no messages when I am blocking. Did a complete and clean reinstall of the game in another directory and only ran the mod + SKSE and SkyUI, still nothing. Disabling perk requirements also does nothing. Are the features locked behind a certain block skill level oder is there something else that I am missing? The error surley is on my end but I am out of ideas by now.
Ideally no. What kind of delay are you experiencing? Every effort has been made to optimize the functions that need to run when performing a timed block, but sometimes they end up taking a couple of frames to complete. Anything longer than that may indicate generally poor performance, or some other issue. What is your frame rate like in combat?
Hey thanks! your mod made the skyrim combat feel so much more fun, without a proper blocking mechanic skyrim was just a game of who have higher numbers,
but theres a way to make the mod block 100% of damage?
ive seen it working on npcs i think but i tried everything for my character and the timed block just wont work. I disabled the perk requirements and tried to block a 100 times and it never triggered. what am i missing?
Edit: Wait... Does timed block specifically needs Nemesis?
Edit: Oh, after reading on SE page, its conflicting with my ordinator i supose?
E: well now it seems to be working and i have no clue why lol
Holy crap, how did I miss this???? I was reluctantly starting to do something akin to this by playing around with perks but not only this saves me the trouble, it's much better and nuanced than any hack I would've come up with.
Thanks, glad to hear you like the mod :D The permissions allow anyone to make a fork or derivation ;) so feel free to go ahead with that mod you were dreaming of!
I was looking into this because someone asked me if Valravn was compatible, and I found that it only seems to register for animations on first load. IIRC these registrations are discarded when you shapeshift, so this may break after you unwolf. Worth testing.
Thanks for the tip. Everything that registers for animations also re-registers after getting the OnRaceSwitchComplete() event. I originally saw this in your Ordinator block scripts (see credits section), it seemed wise to assume it was relevant :)
Havent tested out yet, but just letting you know your recommended mods like Retimed Hit Frames is a link to skyrim SE not LE
oh again i havent used it but i already have a recommendation if its something you're into heck it could even be in the mode if so forgive me :c but instead of reflecting the arrow back to the opponent is there an option to just have it reflect off?
Thanks. There is no Retimed Hit Frames for LE, just Nemesis. Arrow Reflect can be turned off (will turn off spell reflect too), or you can choose to disable auto-aimed arrows in favour of manual aim.
Wow, talkin about still making skyrim difficult yet balanced. My gameplay mods are a complete milkshake at this point. I was wondering if to use Tk-hitstop with yours, though many esps in my way.
