This is a high poly Kaidan replacer for the Kaidan 2 mod. It includes a visual overhaul for Kaidan as well as 3 different warpaint options to choose from. I hope you enjoy!

I am a huge fan of Liv Templeton’s Kaidan 2 mod and I decided to change his appearance to fit my aesthetic. After posting some screenshots, a few people liked it and requested that I share it, so here it is! I hope you like him too!

SE Version
Installation:
Install with your preferred mod manager and select a warpaint option in the FOMOD. Once installed, be sure to load this mod AFTER the Kaidan 2 mod in your load order. If prompted to overwrite the Kaidan 2 mod with the replacer, select yes. Unfortunately, this mod does not install with Nexus Mod Manager. You will either have to install it with a new manager, or try to manually install it.
For manual installation: For those that experience issues with FOMOD installation, I have provided separate installation files that you can install with your mod manager. Make sure to install only one of the options and load them after the Kaidan 2 mod.
Uninstallation:
Uninstall with your preferred mod manager.
To manually uninstall (Not recommended): Remove the following files/folders from your Skyrim Data folder:
Data\Van's LE Kaidan Replacer.esp
Data\Meshes\0Van'sLEKaidan_Meshes
Data\Meshes\Actors\Character\FaceGenData\FaceGeom\0Kaidan.esp
Data\Textures\0Van'sLEKaidan_Textures

FAQ:
Why does my Kaidan look different from the pictures?
Kaidan’s mod was originally made to use whatever face and body textures you have installed. I did not change this in the replacer because I wanted him to have diversity and fit all aesthetics. Kaidan is using either Fine Face Textures for Men, or Tempered Skins in the screenshots.
My Kaidan has a neck/body seam(s), why?
If the male face/body mod has a neck seam, Kaidan will share whatever textures you have installed on your males, therefore, the seams as well. Please keep in mind that when you pick up Kaidan from the prison, he is wearing ragged trousers. This clothing has a skin texture included. Once he removes the ragged trousers, his body texture should look exactly like the body you have installed on your males (if any).
Is there a version of your replacer with Kaidan's original hair/longer hair?
At this time, there is only one hair option and it's what you see in the picture. I did not include an option for his original hair because it looks very strange with this look. If I find a long hair that I like in the future, I may consider adding another option but for now, what you see is what you get. If you'd absolutely prefer having a different hair option, I would look into installing a KS Wig mod or if you know how, manually editing the replacer to apply the hair that you want.
