What a phenomenal mod, i downloaded this just for an added touch to my game, but now I'll never live without it again, it DRASTICALLY improves immersion, way more than i imagined. THANK YOU for your work, this "little touch" just made the greatest game ever that much better!
This mod has become a real favorite for me, but after it I have a mod Player Headtracking, stopped turning my head, I guess there is no compatibility between them. Unfortunately this is true, this is Skyrim. But still, I give high marks to this camera.)
Check the description, it has headtracking for conversations built-in by default but can be turned off. :-)
Compatibility It is compatible with ALL mods except those that change the dialogue camera If you are using a head-tracking mod you will need to enter the config file (ini file) and set the head-tracking to 0 like this:
I have been told that F2F requires a new playthrough and can have compatibility issues, it uses BSA, ESP and SKSE plugins meanwhile Oblivion Camera is only an SKSE plugin so Oblivion Camera should have better performance and stability (correct me if I'm wrong).
Oblivion Camera is an SKSE plugin so it should be a lot more stable, you can also remove/modify it mid-playthrough without any problems however you cannot remove F2F mid-playthrough.
No, I used the backported files from the same mod in Alternate Conversation Camera. The great user 'Felisky384' backported the original mod that was made on SSE before called NasGorTelorCeplok. I contacted him before asking for permissions and he said as long as it does not breach the conditions in his 'Permissions' tab then it is fine. You may want to contact Felisky384 about backporting SKSE mods. Hope this helps :-)
I like this mod but isn't compatible with Immersive First Person View 3.4 Camera.Same as Alternate Camera mod by Felisky. You cant go into first person anymore.
I might consider it, but it looks kinda unnatural (the perspective when you look down at your body looks very stiff) by comparison...
I used to use Joy of Perspective (also stiff looking) until I realized it was why my HDT clothing spazzed out in third person (no idea why, but ONLY HDT, a single dress, freshly inatalled skeleton, JoP and requirements installed and it was a horror show). When I switched to IFPV I LOVED it, so it'll be VERY hard to go back to the mannequin position in first person. :( And if enhanced camera also messes with her clothing, I'll have to just do without this mod.
If you look at my original comment on this mod, so did I. ;) As stated in my reply to clauDA, I REMOVED Joy of Perspective in favor of IFPV, which is why im hesitant to try the mod they suggested. It's too similar to Joy of Perspective, which I don't like. ;)
Although Immersive First Person View isn't technically a dialogue camera mod, this mod conflicts with it. When both are activated, you can no longer enter first person mode at all, EXCEPT during conversations. It also seems to, when IFPV is NOT activated, make the third person camera of tall player characters focused closer to their butts lol.
Yeah this was ported from SSE by a user request. I don't play LE so the compatibility is a grey area for me. As far as I'm aware any camera altering mods may have some incompatibilities. Camera mods seem to be more independent in SSE as there are barely any incompatibilities on SSE. I am fully aware that headtracking mods can cause incompatibilities but there is a guide to disable this mods headtracking in the description. It is also possible that the letterbox effects (if you prefer them on, by changing the ini setting yourself) can cause issues with some ENBs but this is unlikely as I have disabled the letterbox by default.
Fair enough, I understand what a pain it is when one mod you want is incompatible with your favourite mod. Thank you for endorsing still, hopefully you can use it one day :-)
As do I! The transition is so smooth, and with how much trouble I go to when I overhaul NPCs, seeing them up close even when playing in third person would be awesome! :D Perhaps someday.
