I've been getting a lot of people messaging me, asking for permission to translate this mod. So I figured I'd make this comment to let you know that you are free to translate this mod into any language you wish, no permission needed! The only requirement is that you do not upload the entire mod translated, but rather only upload the necessary files and have this mod as a requirement to yours.
What mewmew said, but also because making a custom face is far more time consuming and difficult, and requires skills beyond that of anyone on the mod team.
Besides, the goal was not to create a 100% accurate looking Shirley recreation, it was to create an immersive character that fit in with Skyrim's world and design, while being inspired by the real life Shirley.
Up until today I did not know this mod has LE version. I learnt about it on YouTube from Zero Period Productions video. Came here asap and found the mod :)
At first I could not find the house. I installed the mod via Vortex, there were no isses. I have launched the game the way I always do - via SKSE launcher. The house was not there. Same thing after launching the game via Vortex. But then I launched Skyrim via Steam and the house appeared on the map! So I launched via SKSE launcher again and all was good from that point on :)
I have arrived at Brightwood at night, so I waited till morning to say hello. Moments later I went and retrieved her weapons and we went adventuring together! This is so wholesome and made me so happy <3
Brightwood is a gorgeous house, I'll visit often. So many amazing items, so many details. Everything about this estate is so cool!
Oh my! The most adorable and sweet follower in Skyrim. It's good to see grandma Shirley not only in YouTube videos but also fight and explore Skyrim together! Great mod indeed. I use it with my Skyrim LE and there are not bugs or troubles.
the poor woman, forced to walk around with that ugly head, more hairstyle options, relloking could have been done, "Shirley is a two-handed barbarian", and well she picked up the tone, not sure that my grandma can already lift a chair..lol, and add a hearing aid to her, if she can't hear the horn, sorry considering her old age.
