For those who are wondering, I tested it with and without the Skooma mod. So far, no collisions (ie desktop crash). But the staff (beekeepers and farmers) are standing in one place in a group doing nothing. Could be a potential conflict. Nonetheless - great mod, great port. Kudos to tarlazo and junglehero6.
Yeah unfortunately its just a limitation of the game itself as Goldenglow is a quest area so making changes to it without doing the Thieves Guild Questline would break the questline entirely.
Before the quest Loud and Clear starts, Goldenglow has various invisible barriers around it, preventing players ... from entering. https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Goldenglow_Estate
After you complete the quest "Scoundrel's Folly" in the thieves guild questline you confront Gulum and he should give you the deed to the property. Once he gives you the deed and you've completed the quest, just play for a little bit and a quest marker should come up telling you to visit your new property. I believe the deed doesn't show up until the end of the quest, so pickpocketing is unlikely if you haven't done the quest yet! If you have done the quest and perhaps stored the deed somewhere before installing the mod, try putting it back into your inventory and playing for a bit. Hope this helps.
Fantastic idea! Just one question: would it be possible to add an option to sell it - or even gift it - to... literally anyone other than Maven?
Just maybe one or two other alternate buyers (Bolli? Someone in the Jarl's Court? Temple of Mara, even?) for those of us who neither want to own an estate or give Maven a damn thing?
I guess you're just porting the mod though, so to be fair that's probably asking more than is reasonable. Great job either way.
Yeah I don't like Maven either but you have to admit it does make a lot of sense lore-wise. Maven has an interest in the honey production of Goldenglow so she would probably be highly interested in buying it for that vertical integration...
As far as adding and tweaking things with the mod, that's a bit out of my wheelhouse- while i've been modding for years now I have never actually made a mod so even making small tweaks would be a learning process. Also, not sure what tarlazo's permissions are, but I'd probably have to get permission to even make small tweaks outside of simple bugfixes.

Hope you enjoy the mod though!
