Updating a saved game from 1.2 to 2.0.x: DON'T DO IT. The 2.0 edition versions are safe to install only freshly (new game, or saved game that the mod wasn't installed on yet). It is NOT compatible with saved games that already run the 1.2 version of the mod. The warning about this was up here for 3 months, you had adequate time to finish your 1.2 playthrough. If you still have such an active playthrough at the moment, with 1.2, that save is stuck with 1.2. But why? This backwards incompatibility is something I wanted to avoid, but there was simply no other way. This mod was my first ever mod - and my learning-curve was ridiculously visible in its features: in its early contents it contained rookie solutions, and bad approaches that did work at the time, but were simply not how they should have been done. They made future expansions a headache, therefore I've decided that they had to be corrected if I wanted to build on those features as a foundation for 2.0 content. These changes affect the core implementation of the mod's old features and included not only reworks but removals and deletions and well, therefore safely updating a saved game with 1.2 is plain impossible. (May Sithis have mercy on the state of your save if you do try it despite this warning, but I certainly won't provide support for it.)
Updating from 2.0.0 to newer is of course supported in every scenario, and requires no extra actions. Remove old version and install the new.
How to report a bug properly: - "Hey, this quest is stuck, pls help" is not the way to go. Please include as much information and details on your issue as possible, there is no such thing as "too much" here. This includes but is not limited to: the quest you are working on, its stage, your dialogue choices that led there, where it occured, whether you use any of the patches, any other mod conflicts reported by TES5Edit and your load order with them, or really any specific thing that could be of importance. Often a picture is worth more than a thousand words. A very good summary on how to write a good bug report can be found here. Be aware that it's very likely that I will ask you to do a couple of things (mostly some console commands) and tell me what happens then, to help track down the cause of your issue. If you just comment then leave forever, your issue might never get resolved.
So Fun Fact, pairing it with the brotherhood of old, regardless if setting the option to alternate ending in the debug menu, you'll get vanilla. So uhh...Yeah...looks like that mod as well as mine has some issues with its plot.
This is such a great mod that no matter how many times I've rebuilt my mod list, and whether I do the Dark Brotherhood quests, or not, it's always installed. Not only is it well thought out, perfectly executed, and completely bug-free, but it overhauls an otherwise lackluster guild story with one of, if not the worst endings in the game, making it one of the most enjoyable.
If you haven't tried this mod, you are missing out!
You realized that your choices don't matter? This is the first bethesda game you have been playing with? I still have to find ONE bethesda game where your choices really matters. For being honest, bethesda is good in many things on making games, but the role playing part isn't exactly their strong suit. Luckily there's modders. A mod like this is something i would really liked to have for Oblivion's Dark brotherhood questline. Maybe you'll add something like that when skyblivion will come out. IF it will ever come out.
Found a bug where after Saving dreekius' bro, undil just runs back to the sanctuary and breaks dreekius and the quest since dreekius just repeats the giving the money thing but doesn't give me the money
I find an error or bug: I also use Save the Dark Brotherhood LE,load YCM after Save the DB MOD.I already save Gabriella, veezara, festus krex, and I also kill the empire and in the quest(Hail Sithis!) ,but when I go back to Dawnstar Sanctuary , these three survivor members is not in the Dawnstar Sanctuary. I find them in Falkreath Sanctuary.
For the Artifacts of Sithis quest, when I intimidate the librarian at the College to give me the research, is he actually supposed to give me the book or where do I find it? My quest updated to read the book….but I don’t have it.
I'm having an error: "YCM::WWW42DBArtOfBloodScript::PerformImmersiveCollegeCheck(): ToolContainer was NONE when attempting ICW adjustment". It says to reboot a previous saved game, but I did and it still shows me the same error. I don't actually have Immersive College of Winterhold though as far as I know, so I wonder if that's what might be causing it? Can I still proceed or will this stop me from being able to progress.
PSA ABOUT MARRIAGE: If you have Proteus or NFF or some other framework and have married like 30 npcs and don't want to divorce them all to marry astrid, you can get around this by typing:
setstage XX027F96 10 setstage XX027F96 20
It will then allow you to still marry astrid, just go to the night mother and complete the ceremony!
Not bad so far. I got the alternate outcome in Death Incarnate, but the mission text in the Quests menu still says Astrid is the one who betrayed me, plus the "Return to the Night Mother" objective never completed even though the mission itself did (same thing happened in the quest "The Art of Blood" with the objective "Talk to Gabriela").

And at long last:
Finally for SSE: Here
