they responded on another post "I don't actually own SSE myself, so I'm afraid I can't really make that happen. If you'd like to convert it yourself though, I'd have no problem with that."
While not exactly what you're looking for, KS Hairdos Wigs (SPID Distribution Optional) distributes hairs to NPCs including Redguards. I'm not sure it's 100% all of them, but it's close enough for me.
I can't thank you enough for doing this. I stopped playing Skyrim a few years ago and have primarily focused on oblivion but these hair mods make me want to make a new redguard in skyrim. I am unsuccessful trying to teach myself to model hair because i need for redguards to have better hair in oblivion.
Can't use the mod because of missing master files KS Hairdo's.esm and Holiday Gift Hairdos.esm. I saw that we should take the respective esp files and transform them into esm files somehow. Can you include those files in your mod or upload them somewhere? This would be much easier.
My biggest concern would be stepping on the toes of the makers of those two mods, which is why I'm reluctant on including them. I agree that it's a bit tedious to install because of this, so I will try to fix it. Until then, I would encourage you to take a look at the video I've attached to the troubleshooting section, making ESP files into ESM files is easier when you have a video guide on how to do it.
I use Vortex so I would have to move all my mods to Mod Organizer in order to make those ESM files.
The author of of HG Hairdos says this about permission to use his mod: "This hair pack only made possible by KS Hairdos and Kalilies tutorial on porting hairs to Skyrim, so feel free to include anything in your own, excluding paid mods. If you want to use this in your mod and upload on the Nexus, just credit KS Hairs instead."
Similar info from the maker of KS Hairdos: "There is no need to contact me for permission to use KS Hair on your follower or NPC mods, please use it freely."
I think it wouldn't be much of a problem to include those files in your mod if you credit the authors. But it is your decision.
Do you still have a link to the video tutorial? Even if it's no longer needed for this mod, it could come n handy for others, since I've been trying to better manage my space on MO2.
I got the grey face bug on all redguard NPCs, bandits also. Even after starting a new game with no mods except this one and its requirements the issue still persists. I have never used creation kit. Is it even possible to fix no-name NPCs like bandits etc.?
yeah, its definitely possible! If I recall correctly, you said you use NMM. So, you'd wanna open creation kit via steam (it should be in your library, in the tools section. Once you boot it up, select "Data..." which is under "File" in the upper left corner. tick the boxes for skyrim.esm and this mod (should be labeled BRHFN-L.esp), click "Set as Active file" for BRHFN-L.esp, then press ok. If you get any error messages just press yes to all or ignore. Once it loads up, on the left side of the window go to: Actors Actor Actor RedguardRace
All the files there are your Redguard NPCs. You can select them individually, or make a selection box and choose multiple. Once you've highlighted one or more as blue, just press ctrl + f4 on your keyboard. Answer yes to exporting the face gen data, and leave it alone for a few minutes. When a window comes up saying "Done.", press ok and go to File/ save. Also, you might wanna try manually putting the mod in your data folder to begin with. I've tested it that way, so I know it works.
I don't actually own SSE myself, so I'm afraid I can't really make that happen. If you'd like to convert it yourself though, I'd have no problem with that.
