Meet Xronokth, a book restoring daemon!
No, that's not him in the picture. That's just a book.
Xronokth can provide you with more books, all you have to do is ask. Provided, of course, that you have the right materials.
Xronokth will take your Burned and Ruined Books, apply a little curation magic, and give you a random book. All it takes is some leather, dye, and glue.
Each book requires 1 Burned or Ruined Book, 1 Leather, 1 Leather Strips, 1 Bonemeal (to make glue), and 1 Dye source (a number of flowers and a couple other items work as dyes). Xronokth automatically counts how many of each item you have in your inventory and restores books based on the lowest number.
For each book restored, you will get a random book from the game. It could be The Lusty Argonian Maid, a Skill book, a Spell Tome, or any other (non-quest-related) book in the game. Included on the Files tab are patches to add books from a few popular mods.
Base mod includes books (and dye) from Dawnguard and Dragonborn, but I'll make a vanilla-only version if anyone needs it. I'll also take requests for additional patches.
