v2.0a Dragon Soul Crafting's first few recipes have been released. The naming system is not yet done, so it is not yet implemented. But I figure it would be good to release a small batch of items so I can get feedback.
Can you make it so you only get the active effects after you absorb your first dragon soul? For Immersion purposes, after all, before that, you don't know you are dovahkiin.
I see the error in winrar. I downloaded it manually and test checked by trying to open it first. There I see the error. I tried to install it in NMM but it say it cannot be added. Thank you for your quick response. .
something that i think would be cool for you to add would be a system that allows you to trade normal souls via soul gems for power like attack buff/stat increase etc and maybe a way to use accumulated soul energy to create a realm similar to how the daedric princes create realms in the plane of oblivion by syphoning their own energy and power to create it. also since the realm is a fragment of yourself you could make the player stronger inside the realm and weaker outside relative to the amount of power used
I'mma finish my modules on dragon souls first. Afterwards, I'll move to what regular souls do.
Your suggestions do sound cool. But I'm a long ways off from being able to make a decent realm/plane of your own. The scripting for that, I can do. But the level design I have no experience in.
I'll keep it as a potential suggestion. But unless I can execute something properly I won't release it as a feature.
im looking forward to the soul aspect alot, i always thought that the concept of souls and absorbing them in the game could be expanded for alot more than just enchanting. also the world building part i thought would be the easier part with coding being the harder part the levels wouldnt be the size of apocrypha or solstheim only a few cells per stage of upgrading like a little island with tools and things, you could also do it by having a solid piece of land and then just expanding the world border as the player would progress while hiding future progressions with some sort of visual

I have really bad specs (quad from 2008) and your mod dont cause any lags or shuttering . Also im playing on sse and can send you newest version of your mod from LE saved in se ck if you want. Thank you for thinking about CDR:) Again thank you for your mod and I am waiting for new features.
Can you make it possible to revive costing 0 souls "meaning you revive even before killing dragons" but you still lose half your souls if you souls. It would work perfecly for a soft dead is dead where as long as you don't die twice in a row you ok.

You want to be able to have a revive feature that does not require a minimum number of souls, but still drains souls when you die?
I'll see what I can do. But keep in mind that this would break the game if someone were to set revive mode 1 and set cost to 0. If I can find a way to avoid that situation, you can probably have what you want. Otherwise, I can't implement it.
This feature was crazy difficult. I hope to God it works. My initial tests seem to show positive results, so I've implemented it in the update... but let me know if you run into trouble.

level 1 shout: unlock with 1 dragon soul
level 2 shout: unlock with 2 dragon soul
level 3 shout: unlock with 3 dragon soul
Higher level character should to be boring and very easy to unlock shout.
Many dragon soul spend in player inventory.
It's about make black soul gems more useful? If so cant wait to see

I'm currently working on the crafting module. I'm about 17% done with it. Once that's complete, if I have time, I'll include this requested change.
Update: Can you specify where you see the error? In MO2? In Vortex? WinRAR? In-game?
I downloaded via MO2 and it seems to run fine.
