so I accidentally did a procedure to access a weather control section when I try accessing the forge menu. anyone know how to replicate this? i've been trying to repeat it for hours.
If you have a Pickaxe equipped while navigating the options it usually unlocks secret features. In this particular case you had it equipped while selecting the Forge option in the Remote Crafting section
Interesting! I know there was a mod made years ago that would allow the user to make their characters how they wanted. But since I don't know what that mod is I'll be checking this one out ^_^
Your probably thinking of Epic Hacks or Dippys Cheater. They both do basically everything this mod does in terms of adjusting your stats and perks etc. but they also have other features this mod does not. On the other hand they do not give you equipment sets like this one does so there is plus and minus points no matter what you use.
"Immersive Cheat Menu" and "Nausiccaa's Tweaker" also do some of what this does, but this one allows changes to NPC's--it says--so I'm adding it to my list. I hope I can use this to teach "Lightfoot" to stumbling followers!
Interesting mod.. I mostly like it. Locking the more interesting bits down and requiring users to 'jump through hoops' to unlock them is a rather odd choice for a cheat tool tho. Drop that part and it could potentially become the most downloaded cheat tool on the Nexus... eventually.
BTW: If some huge youtuber ever features your mod, be ready for an absolute FLOOD of newb questions that will hit you asking how to get this and that cause they can't find the advertised feature... just a warning, I've been here, done this. "Where the F are the spells?!" etc
Oh I see what you were going for with it... and I don't mind it too bad here personally. If it was me I woulda locked the more powerful stuff and left the more utilitarian stuff like spells open... like lock down the maximize all skills/shouts/etc stuff instead... but, you are the creator of it so ultimately it's up to you regardless. Still enjoy the mod and have it installed on a fresh redo HD version of the game I just repackaged. :)
so you went to the trouble of creating a whole mod to accomplish the same thing that could be done by a bat file that takes 30 seconds to create and 3 seconds to run? not to mention be much easier to tune and modify? talk about overengineered solution to a problem that did not exist
It's for the people that prefer as much immersion as possible really. They'll take whatever they can get. For me neither is worth it since I know the console commands and can fine tune everything myself.
