And you have brought us a dual-treat in that you have also used it as an introduction for your very lovely Cerica. He is most stunning in a very genteel sort of way.
I have to echo the truth of what Heike has already said, elegance is not necessarily about clothes or backgrounds and such like...it can be a look, a pose or, as you have done, the elegance of silverware on an old oak table...elegance is as elegance does, and my favourite images in this set are the two shots of her standing gracefully at the foot of the stairs, and the shot of her sitting on the floor, her mind apparently lost deep in her thoughts.
Beautifully done, beautifully and elegantly presented!
Thanks again!
ove the dark mysterious elegance of her when she goes through her home, down the stairs ...
It seems to me, we had really the same intention for today ... but, honestly, I don't wonder about this
That being said, I'm very glad I did join in with Cerica. It's her first appearance in Skyrim and she might return shortly on Wednesday for a different kind of showcase, more close to what she wears in gameplay and her story...
It also truly seems we had a very similar idea for this Sunday, but what's that saying - dark minds think alike!
I do hope you do another one.
I'll try to follow up with some more Elegance on Sunday sets, because this was fun to do, although I have to admit I have a far more easy time making a Colourful Sunday since I travel around so much. More will surely come though, but perhaps not every week.
Thank you kindly, Quinten!
I'm glad you say confidence, because she's a rather cocky and sassy girl when in "her right clothes". She's not the kind of girl who wears dresses, so this was a one time opportunity with Cerica...
I'm sure I'll upload another set with her anytime soon...when she has picked something from her ordinary wardrobe...
Yes, I like how she looks too. It's always fun to see your imagination take visual form when making characters. Since I have written description of them all, I do have some leads to go by which is why I never use other presets than the ones in Vanilla - not even the ones I've done myself. It adds to their uniqueness I think, since they wont look too similar to the creations already been made.
I'm much more confident with making SW sets though, but that's mainly because I have more to pick from when it comes to outfits. I did a SW set with this girl at the same time as I did this set actually!
She has a certain elegance about her looks, I have to say. She doesn't run around in dresses too often though, even if she's a sorceress - but a roguish one...
Well, I had to try make something at least and this character was "born" into Skyrim just today, so what better than to introduce her with some elegance. It's not her normal style though, but that's part of the fun - dressing the characters up to be something else. Sometimes it even sparks new ideas for their future to come...or their background stories.
Silver is indeed elegant and it goes perfectly with black fabrics too...
My latest addition to my increasing squad of characters (more a legion by now), so I made her just today...
