Hi, is there way to replace new font with old font, I got it working with Czech language, but in czech we use letters like í,š,?,? etc. and the new font removed these, so I want to replace new font with old, is there a solution for that? thanks.

But i have a probleme , since i have unlock the south beach territory, i have random crash in missions , my screen froze for 2 seconds after the game close and i have to back at my last save. I download the last silentpach but that change nothing.

Tried to install the "official patch", but neither the US patch recommended for this would set up properly, nor EU or UK or AU patch - each with it's own error. Wizard for US patch returned message "Please reinstall Scarface before applying this patch". UK Patch returns the error message "The SetUp has detected that no version of ScarFace: World Is Yours in Installed. Update requires previous version to be installed." EU Patch returns the same error message as UK Patch, though it did return a different error message once before, stating "Error Applying Patch to File [2]. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor {{System Error: [3]}}".
I downloaded game files from SteamUnlocked. Perhaps the issue is that I did not download the file from AbandonWare, which is an .iso file to virtually mount - rather than a zip folder. I may take time from next free available weekend to see if this is the fix I least expect.
Any advice to troubleshoot? I been considering mimicking the default installation setup the disc would configure for game's directory from auto-installation, to see if that may get US Patch's wizard to complete install. Though, if the wizard of the Patch could prompt the user to input file location of video game directory, that would be cool too & may fix the error; but I am a noob with no modding experience.
Can Remastered Mod work without "Official Patch" you also recommended? I only seen comments that, it can possibly work with limited functionality as bugs/errors may still happen. I was still able to boot the game, so I'll perhaps comment with any updates.

[Edit - Bug Notes on playing Remastered Mod without US Patch] Update#1: Not even half hour in. Game became stuck on endless loading screen, only playing audio ambience, and waiting for game to resume - after the in-game cutscene featuring credits for music/soundtrack. When I rebooted the game for a 2nd playthrough, I skipped the in-game cutscene, which quickly loaded into the next in-game cutscene for the first mission, to reach Babylon Club before the Lawyer Sheffield leaves (which begins after the first in-game prompt for a Save to be created). Though, closing out the game window caused a runtime error and a shutdown; so exiting active game window could cause shutdown. With this third playthrough, the game made it past second save-prompt, after the tutorial on selling drugs to dealers; but sometime after the short tutorial sequence for using weapons locker at the mansion - the game suddenly crashed without error notification because it meant to enter an in-game cut scene. Thankfully this error only occurred once, where the game could not transition from gameplay to cutscene. So, further testing is still needed for troubleshooting. Update#2: Only other error that occurred - is a shutdown after adjusting screen resolution with SilentPatch enabled. Usually this does not give an error notification message, but I did receive notification of DIRECTX runtime error once - when I changed resolution setting during a gun fight. I was able to replicate the shutdown, by adjusting screen resolution during a gun fight; so, the tip here is to go to game settings and set desired screen resolution immediately after you are in the game - not to inconvenience yourself during gameplay. I had not been able to confirm from the small community of other players online who played with silentpatch mod - but I believe screen resolution needs to be set each time you boot up the game, or at the least that has been my personal experience. Update#3: Encountered a game-breaking bug/error that halts story progression; the trick I learned earlier to skip in-game cutscenes cant resolve this error that stops linear progression. I believe I may have found a simple fix. The error occurs when you complete a particular mission, specifically the one for U Gin Shotgun Bar; the only mission you play as a different character than the protagonist. After killing the target, the game is meant to load then switch back to the protagonist; but in my play, the loading screen appears, and after loading screen promptly disappears - the game shuts down. However, another curious issue is the mission itself. The description of the target does not match the one given in text prompt - which states the target is wearing a blue hat with a purple jacket; Yet the target's model is wearing a green hat and a red jacket. I skimmed through several recordings other gamers shared on YouTube and I can confirm some players had this same issue and others did not; I cannot even speculate if the issue is because of the SilentPatch, or if it is an issue with Windows PC format of the game, or if it the remastered mod - I can't explain how this occurs. The Fix? I downloaded the US patch from GameCopyWorld (titled "Scarface v1.00.2 [US] Fixed EXE") and suddenly the issue was coincidentally fixed. The installation was much simpler - just extracting the files onto folder for the game directory. So, I can't say for certain how to fix the one issue, but perhaps a proper installation of US Patch will solve most issues - as a general rule of thumb. Update#4: Able to successfully install US Patch (I think) from GameCopyWorld. So, I cannot comment any further about playing the remastered mod without US Patch installed. Update#5: Unable to start distribution from fourth final storehouse. Troubleshooting needed for solution.
Well bro, you're using a pirated copy, i think that may be the reason the patches didn't work, but the remastered project does work without the patches nonetheless, and the reason the forum thread is closed on that page is simply because well, i haven't created none of those patches, they're official, i can't offer support for them, they're self-explanatory, they work with the versions they should work, that's about it.

I had only one other last question follow-up; is the SilentPatch included with this mod - or does the end user need to install the silent patch also?
I only ask, cause I see the section of SilentPatch notes for the mod - I can't discern if that insinuates it is already auto-installed when you install the remaster mod, or whether the end user needs to install SilentPatch also.
1- You've downloaded a pirated copy of the game off SteamUnlocked, the official distributed patches will never work.
2- Game being stuck on endless loading screen is a known bug off the vanilla game, even with patches such as SilentPatch or WidescreenAg's that bug still persists and happens sometimes, it's completely random.
3- The fix you've proposed which is to use a cracked executable for the game, that's the cracked executable Silent used as a base to make his patch, so it does make sense, but we can't redistribute those alongside our mod since that's piracy.
4- We recommend the official standalone US 1.00.2 patch being installed for better stability
5- Base game has lots of errors, they're completely random, but it's really not caused by the remastered mod.
Hit a nostogia kick and played this old, great game. Saw a news article mentioning this mod so I figured to give it a try - old game, fresh paint ought to be nice. This is NOT just a clean up. Not sure what the modder has touched, but even as suggested -with the US patch and all- every other cinematic, mission load, or pause/unpause crashes to desktop. Do not recommend until this has been thoroughly bug tested, vanilla runs like a dream compared to this, sorry.
Sorry man, this has mod has been available for two years now and it has been thoroughly bug tested, vanilla doesn't even run if you're not using custom made patches.
HI, last month i download the mod and the game was quite speed (movement of peoples are 1.25 speed thzn normal), i put my setting video on 4k ( i have a 2K screen ° and that solv the probleme ! And today i have to download the game again but now i can just put the video setting on 2k so my Tony and the other personns walk 1.25 speed ... i don't know of to avoid the issue...
Hey, I found a fix for the speed issue, what's causing it is the game's frame rate is uncapped allowing it to break. You need to manually set the FPS limit down to 60 or whatever.. If you are running Nvidia, in the Nvidia control panel click on manage 3D settings. Then click on program settings in the off white window. Search for your Scarface.exe in section (1) if its not listed in the immediate list. Add it, then in those specific settings for the game, in section 2 make sure its running on the Nvidia GPU first, then in section 3 scroll down and you'll find a setting called "Max Frame Rate" I turned mine on and set it to 30 fps... Only because that's what I'm used to haha... Anyways it fixed it.
I have a problem with Tony and his movement speed. He runs faster than normal and even dances in the club are sped up. Has anyone encountered this before, or know how to fix it?
FIXED: It seems when I changed my resolution to 1920x1080 it fixed the issue.
hi, do u find a solution ? When i download the game a month ago, i put my résolution of the game highter than my résolution of my screen. But i download the game again and now i can put the resolution like before. So my movement is speed.

Im not sure if the thread has resolved this or not and the comments on the patch mods are locked. I just wasted a whole lot of time and getting fr aggravated so excuse me not checking first i wanna play. If your having issues with the patch not installing go here. Avoid the dancing females and other bs.
Download Unzip Replace the .exe and whatever file comes with. Patch is installed the rest should be smooth sailing
