Scarface: The World is Yours is one of these games which nowadays are unplayable out of the box, graphical corruptions present on nearly all modern machines makes the game impossible to play without using unofficial fixes, not to mention the downgraded textures originally present in the PC version, and also cut effects such as blood, sparks and much more.The Remastered Project aims to make the game playable and beautiful, with crisp textures and with restored effects, just don't forget that this is a mod and everything you see is subject to change.
About 90% of the game textures have either been remade or remastered, same applies for sounds.

- Well, right off the bat, this mod makes the game actually work! Yes, the game doesn't work natively in modern systems.
- All the NPCs had their textures either re-done or enhanced for aesthetic reasons or to fit the 80s time period better, that includes Tony's textures which have been either remade or remastered and color corrected aswell. (Tony even looks younger in the training mission in Cuba!)
- All the cut/broken effects from the PS2/Wii release except the blood on tony's face and suit have been restored. (Effects such as the missing grenade launcher explosion effect and sound, alternative ps2/wii gun sparks, etc)
- New weapon models and sounds.
- Reworked or restored cut ambience/cutscene sounds and effects.
- Over 2500 new textures, ranging from terrain to billboards and even wine labels have been altered so that the game is more consistent and also ensuring that you feel more in the 80s than in the Vanilla experience.
- Just recently we've added a reshade filter to match the PS2 colouring.
Missing or planned for the future:
- Blood on Tony's clothing and face
- Remaster every car in the game
- Multilingual support
Things we can't add, fix or solve:
- Change the soundtrack of the game to use only songs from the 80s, sorry but the Music industry is ruthless.
- A proper main menu
- Alter game scripts
- Original mission bugs
______SOME ARTICLES WE'VE BEEN FEATURED______
This mod was built and tested based on the US Release of the game, any other release of the game is not officially supported thus the mod might not run.
- Place all the contents of the zip file on your game installation folder
- Right click on the Installer.bat and run as a Administrator.
- Select the desired option.
- Wait patiently the process to end
- Enjoy the Remastered Project.
- Game-breaking graphical corruptions have been fixed, making the game playable on modern multi core machines.
- Allowed the game to use all CPU cores (instead of locking to one core), dramatically improving performance.
- Removed an unneeded multi threaded flag from the D3D device, possibly improving performance slightly.
- Introduced a cache for some D3D resources used by the game, dramatically reducing the amount of stutter when roaming around the city.
- Made the game list all selectable resolutions instead of a cherry picked list.
- Moved game's settings from the Registry to settings.ini in game directory - this resolves possible issues with saving settings.
NOTE: ꜱɪʟᴇɴᴛPATCH DOES NOT WORK WITH A RETAIL EXECUTABLE.
