I have updated the Enhanced Edition version of the mod for use with EE v.3.2
There is also a third version for use with the Patch Addendum Russian community mod.

Doesn't work whatsoever, I've added it with the mod manager and the hair in the char creator doesn't change at all from the old one. Using only Purist patch with it and the grass mod.

Update: The first default type doesn't seem to work with Purist, but the EE type works with EE.

is this mod compatible with Beautification_Project mod? it looks like both mods use the same folders and files, maybe the connection order is important in GME? although both seem to work, but still...

Yes it's fine, that mod's not incompatible with anything.

Hey Flix, I noticed this mod's structure includes:
    ..\Sacred 2 Gold\MODS\Alternate Hairstyles for EE\pak\mq\*

Should your installation instructions + ReadMe include instructions to optionally rename this from "mq" to "hq"?  I would think (based on other instructions you've provided, like for the Grass Mod) that this could result in missing textures for users running on the highest settings.  I haven't actually gotten in and played yet... just noticed during initial setup of the game.

Thanks for your continued support.  I'm looking forward to trying out Sacred 2 thanks to you and the rest of the modding community.

Not to worry, it's not necessary, since there are no pre-existing hq textures that need to be overridden.  There's just the one set of textures, so the game will use the ones in the "mq" folder regardless of the texture setting in the options menu.

Can someone help me - how to change hairstyle and color ( i need white) on existing char? I discovered this mod kinda late ingame and if its possible i would rather avoid starting anew.

Hello.  To change the hairstyle/color of an existing character you can use the character editor: https://www.nexusmods.com/sacred2/mods/2

Can confirm that the EE version of this mod still works with EE 3.1.

I can see the hairstyles in game, but they all appear pure black (like missing textures perhaps). Is there some troubleshooting I could try? I'm not familiar with this game's engine, but I am familiar with creating and modding other games so if theres any tools or guides I could figure something out.

For reference I'm running on a linux system through steam's proton, the game runs just fine, although physx makes it lag a considerable amount, and the aforementioned issue. I expect this is probably the main issue, but I'd like to know for sure if you've got any ideas?

Hello.  What are your textures set to in the options menu?  Minimal, Default, Elite?

These look amazing!  Thank you for all the mountains of work you've done on this game.
One request:  I pulled the surface.txt into notepad++ and used a plugin to compare it to my surface.txt from the Community Patch 1.60hotfix and there are a huge number of differences that are clearly unrelated to these hair replacements.  Any chance we can get a version built on the patch?

Hello!  I checked and you're right, the script included in the main file has some additional fixes from Enhanced Edition, namely adding a "doublesided" flag to some surfaces to prevent some armors looking transparent when viewed from one side.  It also contains some harmless extra surface entries for items and creatures only present in Enhanced Edition.  This dates back to when I only had one version of the mod meant to be compatible with all game versions.

If you like, you can copy the hair surface entries and paste them into your own surface.txt.  There's 12 entries and they are all at the bottom of the file, starting with "dryad_curly_ponytail", and ending with "sera-hair02_z"

There is now a separate version of the mod made specifically to be installed on top of Enhanced Edition 3.0.
