I am using 64-bit Windows 10 on a home built 4 GHz Intel PC.
I just downloaded the Sacred2CharacterEditor.exe from Nexus Games by flixter because I thought this would be a useful addition to my tools. When I ran it, Norton System Works immediately gave the error:
Norton is rather annoying like that. It likes to eat/remove anything that doesn’t fit into its perfect universe. Just re-download the mod and when you get the message that it has been removed you can click on the ‘view details’ from the Norton pop-up and it will give you the option to restore the file. Hope this helps.
or better way to not have it happen get rid of the plague that is Norton it thinks 99% of stuff are unsafe hell it pretty much told me the movie i copied from my own owned dvd was a dam virus which is not in anyway true but well what can you expect form that sort of program there are many better that can replace it and at least have a popup that lets you tell the program to forever ignore anything relate to said name of file
i've been trying to use it to change the name of my character but when i enter the game my character's name doesnt change can someone tell me how to fix this?
NIce job. This has more endorsements than the top mod but was not on the list when I look up mods for the game. Any ideas why or are there any other good mods that are not on the list?
As helpful as this lovely mod is, I would like to see some updates to make it not only more user friendly, but enhanced. Including, being able to save changes on the first try. I routinely have to save current changes 5 or more times in a row to make them stick.
I would like to see the following : 1) inventory management (like the old titan quest trainer/mod) 2) better interface with easier to use functions 3) more stability to be able to save changes on the FIRST try without having to save X times to make it stick 4) teleport and respawn point modifications and unlocks 5) specific item alteration within limits of the games item programming ranges 6) easier rune modification/unlock, etc 7) improved skill modification with drop down menu of skills for custom character creation without in-game required skill unlocks 8) ability to unlock mounts 9) xp and gold modifiers (gain more OR less based on user defined limits) with ability to NOT gain gold/xp 10) enhanced item drop modifiers for % of rarer gear and items with check list of specific item types affected (e.g. : runes, weapons, misc, etc)
It wasn't updated for so many years that I doubt any updates will come ever. More chances if someone make a new app with functionality you requested. Maybe someone from DarkMatters fansite could do it. There is the most alive Sacred community.
Hi, can I assign the survival bonus I want in this editor? I killed too many mobs and now there is a very high survival bonus, all monsters are 30+ lvl higher than me, and clothes drop 30-40 higher, I can't wear them, I want to kill a character, farm things according to my lvl and I would like to return mine survival bonus, is it possible in your editor? .. Hmm, it just occurred to me, I can just copy the save, kill the character, resurrect him in your editor, farm the dragon without the survival bonus and drop things into the shared chest, then return the copied one character with a bonus, oh thank you, you helped me so much, I'm so glad :) Just so you understand, I came to platinum lvl 47, things on me lvl 60 with gold difficulty, and platinum ones fall out lvl 80-95, I can only wear lvl 67, but I wouldn't really want to download the character, I have to reach niobium max 65 lvl, but it's incredibly difficult to do in clothes with golden difficulty in hardcore mode P.S. that's all, nothing is needed, it looks like patch 1.6 ruined everything, made a new character 50 lvl and immediately opened niobium, items drop at least 111 lvl, I didn't expect such nonsense, I used to play 2.65.1 cm 1.4, it was like in vanilla - lvl mobs and dropped items depended on the survival bonus, now he died, 90% of the bonus fell to 0, he came to the dragon, but he is still 80 lvl, 30 more than the character, like mobs on the way to him, on niobium I definitely remember knocking out a shield Kira lvl 75, now at least 111 lvl, or rather lvl 120 there is a step of 15 levels, extremely dissatisfied with patch 1.6, it's terrible.
