This mod currently adds some aircrafts to be usable with the SRTS Expanded MOD.


Contents of version 1.7:

-New research tab with 32 new techs (WIP)

-Adds 75 World war 1/2/Cold War era Aircrafts (More incoming including aircraft up to 2020 ).

-Adds 18 new bombs to be used on the planes with different explosion radious and weight. (crafted on machining table once researched).

-New take off and landing sounds for the planes/helicopters including the stuka siren.

-Explosion Sounds and effects for some of the new bombs.

Offensive Capabilities guide:

To bomb local map just load any shell and the minimun crew needed on a bomber plane/helicopter and select bombardement mode (precise or carpet bombing) then select the area of bombing by selecting your settletment and then click on the start of the bombing run and move in the direction you want it then click again on the end, you will see the areas where the bombs will be dropped on the process.

To bomb another settlement/map send a pawn to the target map (you need use other plane or caravan to) so you generate it's map then load any shell and the minimun crew needed on a bomber plane ,select bombardement mode and select the map/settlement, then just give them hell. (follow the local map procedure to bomb)
-Minimun Crew: Minimun Crew needed to take off on any mission.
-Passenger cap: Total pawn capacity of the aircraft (including crew)
Known issues:

-Sometimes the bombing run aircraft model do not show or gets stuck on edge: this usually happens when you drop the bombs too close one to another on bombing runs or do carpet bombing with less than 4 bombs.
-The new bombs can be loaded into mortars, this is limited by SRTS Expanded coz all the bombs need to be "shells",
disable them on mortars for realism, you don't want to shoot a Fat Man with mortar do you?.
-The Maurice Farman F 50 (WW1) can only use the precise bombing, carpet bombing will fail to bomb due it needs the plane to be able to launch more than 1 bomb.
-GENETIC RIM: Loading an incubator into an aircraft can cause it to stop working correctly.
-Sometimes if the bombing run areas are too close, the bombing will fail
-Frontier's Development Shields: The aircrafts will not be able to land within the shield zone even if the shields are turned off. Temporarily reduce your shields to 1 radius to takeoff and land your aircraft.
-Nuclear bombs may spawn the "roof Collapse" issue.*Working on it*
-Sometimes pawns can survive the nuke and other bombs, somehow the game ignore some of them if there are lots of pawns.
-Bombs that occupy more than 1 ground square are counted by the space they take on colony stock numbers, so 1 4000 bomb will appear as you if have 4 when you only have 1 . weird, very weird but harmless.
-Game can crash if you try to store B-28 on rimfactory steel crates.

Conflicts (as SRTS Expanded):

- Multiplayer mod: You will not be able to actually load anything into the aircrafts. It won't work. Sorry.
- Vanishing Ships: If you build an aircraft and it instantly vanished, then you have a conflict. The Dev console may tell you why or how, just move the mod above the HugsLib mod on load order, so it loads before it.
-"I3's Military Aircrafts" may have texture errors on F-16 as both mods use F16 as name for the textures :).
-Dalek Race gives some error on forming caravans.
