This mod is very cool, I use it together with 'less explosive turrets' but it only affects the default turret, what is good enough already. The medium explosion seems ok too.
But I found a bug in the engine (not the mod), that prevents the mod working 100%: if you have two m24 (or any other) available, the colonist will carry both but will store only one, and the other will vanish! I tried to change the mod to require 1 weapon per time but it didnt work, it begun building the turret with only one m24...; I wonder if the colonist could be prevented to carry more than one per time? so by storing only one per time, this would be fixed!?
I think this is related to the number of items that can be shown at once on a building spot. The list does not scroll and each weapon takes its own line instead of being listed as "x 2" or "x 3" of the same item. I am also trying to figure out how to refund the weapons if you cancel a turret build before any work has been performed.
I can do some more testing on the M24 version specifically to see if I can replicate your problem.
cool! do you think it is possible to implement some kind of ammo feeding? I dont know if the game already allows this... the turret could store like 100 ammo, may be a 10 ammo packs could be crafted to feed the turret?
I have seen "resource feeding" done on other mods, but I have no idea how to do it. I think it has something to do with custom-created DLLs, but I am not sure.
