The mod says that issue may incur if I play set the frame rate beyond 120fps, but it does not specify what the issues would be. Do you know what the issues are?
I've also installed the latest version of vcredist.x86 and it still doesn't work. I get a second 2560x1440 resolution instead. My windows resolution is 3840x2160.
I've never used NV control panel custom resolutions before, but from what I can tell, it forces a desired resolution on windows? As I say, I'm already running 3840x2160.
Oh you might be changing the wrong config.ini, there's two different ones so it's a little confusing, the one in game folder (next to rerev.exe) mentions [DEVELOP], but changing that won't make a difference - the one that needs to be changed is inside C:\Users\[windows username]\AppData\Local\CAPCOM\RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS\ folder, should have a lot more inside it like [JOYPAD] section etc.

I put the dll with the rerev.exe and my config.ini looks like this;
[DEVELOP]
BackgroundMove=OFF
[DISPLAY]
Resolution=3840x2160
