Edit: I got the PAK file, so I no longer need help with this.
I want to update this mod for Separate Ways, but I have one major issue: I can't run Separate Ways on PC. I own the Japanese version of the game, but I can't buy the Japanese version of the DLC. If I buy the English version then Separate Ways quite simply refuses to start as it isn't compatible. I asked a Japanese friend to gift the DLC to me on Steam, but that didn't work because Steam refuses gift purchases if there's a price difference.
If there's anyone here who owns the Japanese DLC and is willing to send me the Separate Ways PAK file, then I think can get it working. The PAK file is around 11gb, though. Send me a DM if you think you can help.
just tried it and it still doesnt work. i also tried uninstalling all mods, verifying my files, rereading game archives and then installing them all and all mods but this one work :/
wait dw, i was checking the models by using the bonuses section, it works in game. my other mods change the models in the bonus section also so i thought this would too but its only in game. thanks for ur help
Hello dear overlord FluffyQuack. First off, thank you for all of your efforts and contributions towards the community.
When I saw this mod, I was wondering if it was technically possible to replace the Novistadors with... nothing?
In other words, would it be possible to just wipe them from the game? Would it be a huge effort to revise a separate version that straight up removes the bugs from the game? :/
On the topic of altering content to make parts of the game easier to stomach, is there any chance you might do a Censored Violent Content mod using the Japanese censorship for this game? Like you did for the RE2 remake, I mean.
I'm a squeamish person and am having trouble playing the remake without feeling nauseous from the gore. I'd really appreciate it, but I only ask if its not too much trouble.
It's something I'm considering, but it would involve a lot of work. One annoyance with modding RE4R is that I've found a lot files aren't cross-compatible between the Japanese and global releases. But if I find the time for it, I'll experiment with this.
It should still be fully compatible. Do this if it's not working: - Uninstall all mods in the mod manager - Right-click the game on Steam - Click on Properties - Choose "Verify file integrity" - After Steam is finished with the above step then click on "re-read game archives" in the mod manager.
