    Regarding the 1.1 update, which I actually did finish a while back but didn't get around in releasing.
    I got super burned out from modding this and took a break. I dunno when I'll go back to it but rest assured it will come out eventually.

      Aye. I think with the release of Separate Ways, I should honestly also update to support it because it currently doesn't work for the DLC. Which shouldn't be too hard of a fix.
      Appreciate the kind words, just dunno when I'll be able to ship it!

    Wanted to mention, this is the first 4PR Release where I include Trademark / Copyright signs stuff.
    I've been wanting to do this for a while, but always held back.
    The reason for it is so that it will look like stuff got actually fully licensed in, so it's displayed as such!

    Also, some names may or may not be accurate.
    I did this on my own by using info of old RE4, my own gun knowledge, and research.
    Basically this was done before there's even an IMFDB page for this game yet, so it's a bit chaotic.

    I think a few of the names and descriptions in this mod are a bit of a mouthful, but this right here made the mod for me. This is great.

      Hey, so long as you're still updating this, mind if I ask for a version that doesn't mention the FDE finish on the Punisher? Only I'm using a mod that changes it to the original black finish so that looks kinda weird. Also, I think the 870 in this game is the Police Magnum variant rather than the Express Combo (since it's recycling the model from REmake 2). I wouldn't be too broken up if you don't change it since I'm also using a mod that changes its model, but thought I should mention it. Anyway, great mod overall! Including some of the classic names alongside the real ones is a nice touch.

      Aye, I'm aware with the 870 thing, and it's already addressed. In a bug post here on the page I mention how I did get some names wrong.
      As for the FDE mention, good point, I'll make an alt version without it. I personally kept it on my end since I do like the new look but hey. cx
      I just don't exactly have a release date yet for the update since it takes time, but it will come out eventually!

      The Resident Evil 2 MSG Tool, it works for every RE Engine game.
      I don't have link to it though, as I was sent it.

      That's cool, I actually already have the tool but I've been having trouble getting it to convert the files. What did you have to do to get them to convert? I tried changing the .22 to .14 and using a hex editor to change the first 0F to 0E but it still won't work.

      Just changing the .22 to .14 on the name does the job, no hex required.

      Strange, that's the first thing I tried but it didn't work. I wound up stumbling upon another tool that's been working for me though, REMSG Converter.

    Odd question, but do you mind showing the other descriptions?

    This dropped the same time as the other guns real names mod and I wanted to see which one was better overall.

    Hey, this isn't really related to your mod specifically but do you have any knowledge of how to mod audio in the game? Really wanting someone to make a mod that removes Ashley's non stop breathing. I would do it myself but I've literally zero clue on how to mod this game.

      I posted a comment earlier here for people that might need help on mod stuff related to RE Engine.
      I'll warn you though, some of (if not all) sound modding related to RE Engine is tied to Wwise, and it's uh... a bit chaotic to work with.

    spanish support? the are text mod but only for english as far as i saw could someone made a spanish version or tell me how to do it pls?
