hey! i really enjoy this mod since i enjoy using the sls 60 with enhancements more, and this is super cool! but im not that far in, where are the spare keys placed lol??
Hello friend! Nope, those updated files for the DX12\RT version of the game don't work once you reach the G1 boss room at the basement of the RPD, before that encounter it works fine but after the statue puzzle is solved and you reach that part, there's no more 9mm ammo. Wish a solution could be made but I suck at modding.
So the Sewers for example have high caliber rounds instead? Is there a point where you start seeing 9mm rounds again or not at all? Did you start a new 2nd run or using an older save before installing the mod? Do you have any other mods installed?
Edit: Which option of the mod did you install? For example: 9mm for 2nd Run 9mm for 2nd Run (ALT) 9mm for 2nd Run (Compatible)
The RPD's basement where you deal with Birkin, the sewers, Leon's bullets to deal with the giant alligator and the Lab are unfortunately not working with this mod. High caliber ammo appears instead. There is no point past the RPD (excluding the basement) where you have 9mm handgun ammo again with this mod.
I both tried with older saves and a new campaign to see if it would be solved, but it isn't. I also don't have any other mods installed except a soundtrack one.
I also tried all of the DX12 versions of the mod to see if one of them would work: That is, both 9mm for 2nd Run, 9mm for 2nd Run (ALT), 9mm for 2nd Run (Compatible) & 9mm for 2nd Run & Easier Spare Keys. None of them work on the previously mentioned sections.
Just letting ya know, thank you for looking into this.
I can confirm the mod wasn't working in G1 Boss fight, Lower RPD, and Sewers. I tracked down the reason for this and the update should now fix it.
Do note that if you if you don't start a new run after updating the mod not all the pickups will be fixed because some of them are set in stone as soon as you start a new game.
Thank you for the detailed info, and let me know if I've missed anything else.
Now updated for DX12\RTX version of the game. I'm quite rusty (which is an understatement) so please report back if everything works or if anything's missing so I can fix it.
If common.scn.19 in item folder change them, whats the difference with leon_common.scn.19? and what the files in fsm folder does? Ill see if i can update this. This mod alone is the reason i never update to RT build
I'm sorry, the reason I never updated it is I lost my computer and all data while I was updating the mods for the RTX update, that's why I updated some and not all. This was a rough period for me and while I have since rebuilt my pc re2 & 3 are sort of a sore spot. I have every intention to update the rest of my mods, but I just keep putting it off.

Still worse performance, reflections and anti aliasing than the original non-RT version?
