Hey, I downloaded the No Reticle spread and sway and forced scope version and I followed the instructions and dropped the folder in lml. I can see it in the Mod Manager but for some reason it doesn't work. Yes I use special ammo, I have tried it on the cattleman, schofield and the LeMat revolvers. I have checked my mods to see if any of them mess with the weapons.ymt file and none of them really do.
You can share a screenshot of your lml load order.
Don't forget you can disable other mods and only enable this mod to test it and know for sure if there's an incompatibility.
Oh and make sure you unpacked the mod correctly, so inside lml folder there should be a folder named 'No Reticle Spread or Sway and No Forced Scope' and directly inside of it are the ymt files, not another folder.
I recently switched to Maverick weapons and chose the no degredation, infinite ammo and deadeye option and they don't work. I followed the install instructions as well as the instructions for installing the Options.

Hey, I've been trying for a while, but I can't seem to get this mod working. When I shoot, the reticle still expands and fires bullets around the circle instead of the reticle itself. I have scripthookRDR2.dll, version.dll, and lenny's mod loader installed. Initially, I tried Maverick Weapons and Catalog, but after having trouble getting it to work, I disabled it and tried your No Reticle Spread or Sway mod with no luck. Any ideas or suggestions to get troubleshoot or get the mod working? Thanks!

I have no idea why but it refuses to work no matter what I do . I have installed the patches for WERO and you mod that is supposed to make them compatible and i have deleted the weapons.ymt folders. Does anyone have any ideas on why it wouldn't be working? The other mods I am using are whyems bloodbath, RWAO sounds, PED damage overhaul and metal reworks.
This isn't working for me At all, using the no reticle spread, sway and no force scope. I have a couple outfit LML mods, quick draw and duels but thats it. IDK what im doing wrong cuz ive got everything else workign and tried a couple times
Ive tried every load order but either "No reticle sway or spread" or WhyEms gets overriten. i cant seem to get both to work at the same time. Ive also tried deleting weapon.ymt form whyems and no luck?
Whenever i go to the trapper or barber, the WhyEms additions options in those shops disappears. Vice versa also happens. If i put WhyEms at bottom, WhyEms works, but your mod doesn't. Its odd since the custom outfits i made using WhyEms is still on my horse. So the game still has the files, but they're hidden somehow?
Reticle bloom is controlled by weapons ymt files, if bloom returns then you didn't weapons,ymt file from WhyEms. Meanwhile WhyEms additions to shops are mostly controlled by catalog_sp.ymt which my mod doesn't have in the first place, this means you have another mod installed in the middle and when you put WhyEms to top that mod overrides it.
You are a saint and a scholar. turns out the conflict was navy revolver in sp and whyems, which i perhaps should have mentioned, but you seemed to figure it out anyways, which reverted the gun to the mauser pistol using regular ammo and I didnt make the connection. Appreciate the help
im new to modding and i installed the remove reticle spread or sway mod and it still seems like some of my bullets even with special ammo just go all over the place. i dont know if iv done something wrong on the installation but this was one of main things i was looking foward to fixing with mods on this game and idk if its possible to fix completely and my mod is working correctly or if its not working . iv seen videos of people where the bullets never miss and have no bullet bloom is this the mod i need for this or is it a different mod . sorry for the long question just trying to get it figured out
If the mod is working it will be very easy to know because as soon as you switch to a special ammo the reticle will stay as a dot that never blooms when you move or shoot (except for shotguns), if you are saying that the reticle blooms (gray circle gets bigger around white dot) then the mod isn't working.
There are 2 reasons this could be happening: either a conflict with another mod or it wasn't installed correctly usually missing pre-requisites.
Do you have other lml mods installed or is this the first mod you've tried to install with lml?
i have some other mod installed but none that conflict. i guess the mod is working correctly because the reticle is just a dot and doesnt bloom at all i just thought that the actual bullet would stop going random directions and stop missing randomly thats always been my biggest annoyance with the game is the random bullet bloom
Ofc bullets shouldn't be going off in random directions, but the bloom is more definitive way to test if the mod is working in the first place.
Give me an example of this happens.
Test hipfiring a cattleman revolver at a wall, fire all 6 shots as fast as you can and go check the spread of the bullets on the wall, if your hands are steady enough you should see all shots landed almost in the same spot, or in an upwards line depending on recoil. I've picked cattleman cus it has very fast hipfiring so if the bullets do fly off in random directions it will be very obvious to see.
i have tested and they all stay pretty close so I i guess its working correctly . not trying to be rude or anything like that just genuinely curious if i had done something wrong or if i had misunderstood how the mod worked .

update: nvm just put it in the bottom of mod loader using arrows on the left
