Works - just copy the first SRDR file into your account folder in the saves.

If you guys need help chaos means to move these files over from the mod save to your current save files.
Move ONLY the files titled "SRDR30000, SRDR30001, and SRDR30015 (baks. included) to the save file Rdr2 creates when you first start the game.

Save Folder --> C:\Users\(Your user)\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles\06F8B193 (your save folder may have a diff. set of numbers)

If you replace your entire old save folder with the modded one it will NOT work. Hope that helps you guys!

I don't know why it is so hard to do basic stuff like inserting other save file into your game in Rockstar games, but here we are.

So if you follow all instructions from the pinned post and launch game, Rockstar launcher will ask you to resolve a conflict between cloud and local saves. Just choose all Local and this should work. When you load into story you will still be loading into your oldest save file, after that select Load Game from the menu and choose the new saves made by the author.

In theory it should load you no problemo, but in my case my game just crushes, even when I press start new game it just crushes.

UPDATE: ok, so problem was in rifle holster mod for some reason lol, It doesnt let you load saves or start new game

what worked for me was following the instructions the creator said and the once you get to the folder he lead us to open it delete  everything in it and coping the contents of the modded folder into the old one

It worked for me (I did what other people say in these comments, 'Move the files “SRDR30000, SRDR30001, and SRDR30015 to the save file.”'). The Rockstar Games launcher found an error due to the save cloud version (I guess, I'm not sure), and that's why I couldn't start it. I just chose it instead of cloud save, and everything seems correct.

    IF IT DOESN'T WORK:
Copy SRDR30000, SRDR30001, and SRDR30015 (baks. included) to
    C:\Users\(Your user)\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles\******
    while the game is running.

I just got this mod a little while ago and it works great. Only issue I'm having is that I can't save now. Not sure if it's due to the mod or just the game being dumb. I can't even trigger an autosave. Anyone got any ideas on a fix for that?
