after i edit scale size of other horse coats mod ymt file , spawn the horse again and size changed. But after putting the saddles on the recently spawned horse, the size reverts back to og size. What did i do wrong ?
Red Dead Trainer has a horse scale option that is automatically applied to any horse you put your saddle on. There's no way I know of to turn that off. You either uninstall it or change the scale in it to a value you like and it'll always apply to your main horse.
Basically this is a feature not a bug, you either like it or you uninstall RDT.
I want to also have custom horse coats (other mods) and then I get the question if I want to replace the y.m.t file. Is that okay to do? How can I use both?
If you replace the ymt file then you'll get the new coat but lose the size increase for that specific coat, which is fine just after you replace open the new ymt file in a text editor, find 'scale' and change the value to whatever you like.

this mod does not make any sense, i mean shire horse is the biggest horse in the world! just leave them horse size alone . also shire horse needs to be bigger.
What it doesn't make sense bud is the fact that (example) John M. Is taller than some horses in game , small Horses are ponys , there are Horse races bigger than others but generally horses are taller than humans , so , you see this mod makes all the sense there is to make !
Its almost like the developers in Rockstar put years of research in to different horse breeds, as most riding horses aren't that large, Arabians are actually pretty small with you being most likely taller than one (I know shocking), and John and Arthur are the same height in engine, which that's more a problem with their character models, not to mention modern race horses are bred over generations to get the best physic possible. Then there is the thing of horses historically around that time would be smaller than modern horses, from factors like selective breeding over the years, as well as nutrition.
Can't seem to get the lml/stream install to work, but the Alt install you provided works great. Was underwhelmed when I finally got a Fox Trotter and it looked like a big pony lol. Thanks for your mods, some of them are essential for mouse and keyboard gameplay imo
I think the mod doesn't work, tiger stripped mustang has his small size, also I've tried opening your ymt files in visual studio and it gives me an error whilst other ymt files can be opened
How do I actually activated this mod in game? it doesn't seem to make the horses bigger? I also used another Horse related mod call better horses, would that be a conflict mod that prevented this one from working correctly? Thank you
