To everyone who wishes to ask me to add something to this mod, whether it be something you think is small and easy to do or not, I'm afraid to inform you that I will not be taking requests for additions to this mod. Not unless they are paid requests.
I do not have the free time in my day to day life to accommodate every little addition asked of me, that's why I can't justify spending what little time I have on extra work for free. There are resources you can find in multiple modding discords to help you learn how to make your own mods if you truly want to add something yourself to this game. But I won't be giving up my free time for it.
I understand that getting into modding can be daunting and time consuming, but that's why I ask for your respect and understanding in that I won't cede to any requests made because I made this mod the way I wanted to make it and any time I spend on the mod will only be for improvements and additions that I want to see.
This was a mod I made for myself, which I liked, a mod I wanted to make public. It's my mod, not your mod, please understand that.
Final notes to add; do not directly message me on Nexus with any problems you have, my inbox is not for that and you will be ignored, My inbox there is only used for professional consultation, be it for a paid request, to feature my work, or to use my assets in a mod of your own.
If you are wondering why I'd take paid requests but not free public requests, here's my answer, I'm a very busy person, I need to justify time spent. If it's not something I want to add, then I'd need to justify it being worth my time, and giving my extra time for free I can't justify. At the end of the day, this mod is free, no one is forcing your arm to pay for anything, I'm just laying out what I will and won't do. Otherwise enjoy the mod.
perfect mod, endorsed! also i genuinely loved the read me/download instructions they made me laugh after a long day. Truly tho im not sure how many people have problem with this mod tho but people can be strange, regardless good mod man it works perfectly.
To anyone complaining about that there is no installation instructions its in the zip file when you download it and the instructions are easy to follow and clear. If you dont understand maybe you shouldnt be modding the game. Just put the the contents in the folder in the stream folder in the lml folder thats in the main game directory. If you dont see a stream folder in the lml folder just create a new folder in it called "stream" and put the file contents from the zip in there.
You're bootlicking so hard it’s embarrassing. He doesn’t even bother to say "drop it in the stream folder" not once. And you’re really gonna sit here, mouth-breathing at me, acting like out of the hundreds of thousands of modders who deal with annoying comments daily, this guy somehow has it the worst and deserves to act like a complete dick? All while lacking the brain cells to include the one, single, critical step people actually need to install the mod?
He ABSOLUTELY says to drop it in the stream folder in the instructions. These instructions are made for someone who knows how to mod the game. If you don't understand it, pull up a youtube video and find out, you f*#@ing moron.
i never ever comment on social medias, let alone platforms like these, but i cant get over how mean you are to the people installing your mod. What a greasy rascal you are, you ####
So the brown hair color can only be used with the JMRP files? I managed to get the young clean arthur face working but i cant seem to find any shop_item file. If anyone knows how to solve this, thanks in advance.
That's about the attitude about all modders bro. Idk why it's like that, but a lot of these guys are just annoyingly rude. Obv not all, but it's a considerable amount.
Well. i'm a modder also back then. and still do but not often. usually i don't share it.
I had many experiences with people asking even an easy step. It made me angry i had to be patience with them. some even say my mod was fake and the video i made edited.
You should try reading why he is the way he is. It's the same reason so many of them are like that. After so many months/years and dozens, hundreds or thousands of comments from people making stupid comments like "why would you even do this," "hey bro when are you going to add [x feature that was never in the scope of the project to begin with]," "dude why did your mod f*ck up my game???" "dude when are you going to help me fix my game???" and on and on and on, ad nauseum. I sympathize massively with these dudes who have to put up with such crap.
And despite that, he at least still cares enough to leave the comments open, unlike so many other modders who make life harder for us downloaders who want to look to each other for info on whether something still works and the like.
Edit: I take back some of what I said. This dude actually goes way overboard to straight assholehood in the readme. Imagine repeatedly insulting people trying to follow directions. Dude lost some brain cells somewhere along the way.
probably because alot of them have a superiority complex; they think they're better than the average person who uses the mod because they can make mods and they own the mod while the consumer most likely can't
