Heyy, awesome mod (10/10 from a certified Colt SAA simp) but it would be even better if the increased damage also reflected itself in the weapon stats so that one can see if the mod's active or not by looking at the stats instead of killing an NPC :)

So, your volcanic change was in good spirit but unfortunately incorrect. The volcanic that you likely read up about was the original variant that used the rocket ball ammunition. Smith & Wesson revised the weapon to use cased ammunition that made it far more effective, and that's the version that's in game. It even says it in the catalogue. You can watch the forgotten weapons video about the volcanic and he'll tell you all about it.
Cutting the damage to about 2/3rd instead of 1/2 is more accurate. Because I agree that the volcanic is way too powerful for a pistol, but it's not that weak either.
Yeah, in real life it may be an absolute joke to laugh at, but any "realism" mod that nerfs it is automatically trash. He's just an idiot. Honestly people using these mods are punishing themselves for no reason.
I haven't modded anything, but what I heard from the person who made "Maverick's weapons" is that they decrease the reload speed by messing with weapon familiarity.
A one handed Sawed off 12 Ga hurts, sure, but "realistically break your wrist upon firing it one handed" is surely extreme hyperbole. I've fired a one handed sawed off with buckshot before and it's a hefty kick, but won't break your wrist. I think he meant if you fired it like how they hold it when you aim it. He holds the gun straight out with no slack in his arm to absorb the recoil. Which would put a lot of strain on your wrist.
